This video came in the right time lol. I just now started drifting in this game and its nightmare for me. I use the special S15 and damn, its hard. Hairpins suck, 1st gear makes you almost spin and 2nd gear is not enough. If you ever have time, could you do video on tuning parts? I still dont understand like ups of 5lvl trans instead of lvl4. Also some cars have shifting lag from 1st to 2nd. Is that normal? Thanks!
I can help a bit I love this game so much but there is some issues though special cars are weird they got so much grip like they built for racing more then drifting you really got to throw the car into corners a bit harder . And the lag for the gears mean they're too short
@@gtrpaceteacher8775 Ohh i see thank you. Everytime i asked, i got told its just how the game is lol. Do you have like discord or anything? I have some questions. Also i love this game too, but my skill is still lacking
Right now I'm at iroha 1 and I think I'm starting to get into the game and drifting without too much tuning and fixing that gear trouble... When I get a better experience I'll make another video to help you
@@ZA-7 Thank you. I am at the Zao and i just now started to play with the setting thanks to you and gtr, my sunny gtir now handles pretty good, i will be looking forward to that video.
@@ZA-7 no proble, you can increase steering angle by +2. with more it can make the car feel weird. for faster tracks try keeping steering angle +1 or +2. sometimes stock angle feels nice
I can give you a s13 drift tune to help you understand a bit more and for you to mess with. Note:This game driving feel is more momentum based. More of Accelerate for grip and coast for slip. Sorta the opposite of txrd3. Settings for me personally I have no traction control at all because I can feel more of what's happening. Just like the 3rd game lsd gonna be important mostly initial torque for getting that right momentum in and out a corner Also tires will help you get that good control. For me I run sorta either or depending on speed I want. since you'll be mostly sliding anyway. Good run though. Really excited to see more this game really underrated. You got most of the fundamentals down though. If you have any questions at all I will gladly help.😊
I can't drive fast if I have to worry about having that snap overteer even with the s13 which is ridiculous, drifting in a hairping is a nightmare, other type of corners are not that problematic because as you said is more momentum based sadly. Would be nice of you can share your settings for this car.

The physics in this game feel more sloppy than in KB3, so I iust let the car slide on its own and play with the throttle when needed
Exactly, is like the cars has less weight and traction. And even when you can let the car slide it does not work for all turns (if you are drifting).
Thanks for the video!
I was really struggling with this game's poor grip and this video helped me a lot!
so its perfect for those who are pissed at understeering alot in KB3 xD
This!
I have never having trouble drifting here besides the suicide AI when at behind.
And I never using special tuning for cars I drive.

I quite like the handling in KB2 , its way more predictable than in Drift 2 , much nicer to drift in this game imo.
I dunno now im just holding the e brake and countersteering
hi try stiffen spring rate. have 0 camber in rear, 1.00 in front. spike or rain tyres level 1 350 hp minimum and not too low ride height
Thanks for the tips!

i feel like this game is alot easier to drift in than kaido battle 3
Interesting video but jeez what's with rear camber : /
Crazy LSD setting btw
how do i do a grip tune?
