New, salacious details from police about the arrest of a Pearl River priest last week add to an already devastating period in the Archdiocese of New Orleans’ ongoing church sex abuse scandal.
Court documents filed by Pearl River Police state that a passerby saw the lights on inside Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church near 11 p.m. on Sept. 30, and stopped to witness the shocking actions of the church’s pastor.

No repetitive prayers (chantinging), but that's exactly what you're doing when you do hail marys. Also, praying to different saints and even Mary claiming that mary can intercede on your behalf. Purgatory is flat out made tf up. Not to mention indulgences where inghe past you had to pay for in order to get your loved ones out of purgatory. The bible talks about the wealthy getting into heaven and how hard it is yet this church has its own bank and the pope is waited on hand and foot by servants while being surrounded by expensive furniture, art work, marble and gold, etc. No church should have that kind of money. That money should be poured back into the community. People bow to and worship this MAN even though that's not what the bible says to do. Think about it...why were catholics punished for reading the Bible for years n year, but it's the book they claim to teach from?

The church should ordain only men married in good standing for some time. Maybe then they would get a higher quality of men.
