Hi Seth, i took up a 10 years ILP and I have paid my premiums for close to 4 years now with a total of $24k and able to get back 50% if I surrender now. I have another 6 years to go if I choose to carry on which is another $36k to pay. Do you think I should surrender?

This card is sadly, filled with dishonest promise even if you use it for foreign currency spending. Im not even talking about how the 15% cashback advertisement for this card that comes with T&C. The worst part is that if you had a chosen category, you will NOT earn even 1.5% cashback if you fail to spend the minimum requirement for the quarter. Meaning if you are using this card only for Travelling in one month, you wont be able to hit the quarterly spending and you are not eligible for the 1.5% cashback too. I have already confirmed this through the Live chat in Trust app after making $2k without any cashback.

For low-spenders who can't even hit $500 per month, which cards do you recommend for Paywave transactions? I was previously using HSBC Revolution and UOB Absolute Cashback, but they have nerfed HSBC Revolution to online spending, and quite a few places do not support AMEX cards.

For method 2, AXS paynow to your credit card company using NS Credits, meaning the $200 transfer back to say (e.g. DBS credit card) savings account? Don't mind me asking redundant question, the wording sometimes abit confusing for older folks, thanks for reading my QN. 😊

Hi, for the DBS card promo, specifically for the DBS Vantage card, is it worth paying the annual fee in exchange for 40,000 miles (existing dbs cardholder)? Also the qualifying $4k spend excludes hospitals. Is private specialist clinics excluded or categorised the same as hospitals? TIA!
