    Thank you for the video, subs and liked. I have a question trying to plan out a strategy and would care to hear from your pov. What's a great card to pair with citi rewards for the Travel category that is excluded in the citi rewards? Be it cashback or miles. Looking towards your reply!

    Hi, thank you for making the video and content digestible. I wonder if you are able to verify if e-commerce platforms such as ASOS, Zalora, Amazon qualifies under the 10x points. Can’t seem to find the MCC for the above-mentioned online platforms.

      Those are very common online shopping sites that shouldn't have an issue with most cards including Citi Reawrds

    Hi, thanks for the video. I'm late to the game. - Question on the exclusion of mobile wallet on this card. Does that mean if I add the card to my iPhone wallet and pay using my phone, I will not earn the 10X points?

      Just add the card to Amaze and use the Amaze card

    Hi thanks for the video, do you know why does Amaze card convert all offline transactions to online ones?

    • @Sethisfy
      @Sethisfy  ปีที่แล้ว

      Unsure of the exact mechanic, but probably because Amaze charges your card during payment and this is done as a online transaction.

    Question, if i were to pay a hotel stay on amaze which is linked to Citi rewards, is the 10x points still valid?

    • @Sethisfy
      @Sethisfy  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No, Amaze retains the MCC of the underlying transaction, and hotel MCCs are excluded by Citi Rewards card

    1) If i Favepay with Citi rewards mastercard, do I get 10X points?
    2) If I Favepay with Amaze card (linked to Citi rewards mastercard), do I get 10X points?

    Comparing to HSBC Revo, do you prefer this card or revo if it comes to % rebate (say if we spend on F&B)?

    • @Sethisfy
      @Sethisfy  ปีที่แล้ว

      I think this is easy to use as long as Amaze continues to work. Revolution requires more monitoring of MCCs
      Citi’s conversion is also more straightforward: $25 for conversion. HSBC wants more money for some annual conversion programme which is quite unnecessary in my opinion

      @@Sethisfy sorry bro, can explain what the $25 conversion means?

    • @Sethisfy

      Most cards require you to pay $25 + GST to convert points into miles

      I don’t think US citizens can apply for this here. You guys probably have your own version.
      But Singaporeans using this card in the States would continue to earn rewards

    "worst of the worst"! this is really the truth to comment citi. Citi credit card, when you want to close it. the bank puts you in complicated trouble and wastes your time again and again, the only purpose is not to let you close it or drag the closure as long as possible. The bank asks you what credit cards you hold with other banks... firstly, is the bank qualified to ask this question to customer when they want to close the citi credit card? secondly, the bank repeatedly compulsorily force the customer listen to recorder which warns you once you close the card, you will not be granted .... funny and stupid thing is that citi adopt living person to force the custermoer listen to the dead machine recorder, otherwise, not to close the card. So funny. This is the first and only bank i met and suffered. The business model designed is in such a unfriendly way. All design is just for putting you most difficult to close the account. including saving account! it is very hard to close. more time consuming than other common banks.
