Nice job James👍. Now you can proudly say you put the sub-frame back in, a two person job, singlehanded.

James what a brave man, I like to tinker but that’s a proper job and a half. Any chance of a Q&A video I’m sure the subscribers must have a load of things to ask mate. Either way, please keep doing what you’re doing as the videos are very informative and I’m learning so much. Thanks!!!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Good effort with the subframe! Should have copper slipped all the bolts to ease tightening and if it needs to be undone in the future. Hopefully the box is a good one 👍🏻

Total respect for carrying out such a monster job on your driveway @The Savage Garage!
I usually do my work in the carpark out side of my house but got a shot of a proper ramp last week to do my diff oil and fuel filter - what a difference working that way - so much easier.
I'm sure you'll end up with a proper garage in the future with lift and you will absolutely love it!

Gearbox oil, it's always good to step it down from what the book says.
    So,
If the book says 75w90 then fill with 75w80.
If the book says 75w80 then fill with "75w"
It makes gear changes so much better especially in the winter/cold.
I have a 5 speed Mondeo mk3 (mtx75 gearbox) and getting into 1st/2nd in the cold was a struggle until I filled with 75w80 (factory fill was 75w90).

Wee tip for your track rod end. If it was a nylon nut and tightened once you'd got it off so far set it on fire....melts the nylon out and they work straight off.

Make sure there is a gasket at the bottom of the gearbox where the bolt was missing otherwise the oil will come out

Next time Make up a few carster skates, the type you would use for moving washing machines and fridges around.....made up of ply wood and four caster wheels on each corner....you get different sized wheels for different heights......then just slapp your subframe or gearbox on it and slide in and slide out..also the gearbox can drop on the wood ply less damage....

May i suggest a lick of paint on the subframe to cover up the scratch marks on the subframe, would introduce rust in the future. Also some grease remover possibly to remove that oil on the sump, potential buyer could try and haggle for a problem that could not be there. Loving the content you provide on the channel nice to see a channel that not all about hp and body arches. Currently under going a full restoration my self on my own car so i can relate the oem type of builds.
