I visit 2 carboot sales and find some really interesting stuff including one particularly exciting find.
Did you ever get any more info on the WW2 stuff? It seemed a little odd that the photos look to be pretty much all in perfect condition and so many have ruffled edges for some reason, and quite a few other similar WW2 photo albums have the same style. I would have assumed it was some sort of reproduction.

Some nice finds. I've been itching to go to the car boot for nearly a month but every Sunday I've had off its rained. That game boy for £8?! Amazing find.
Did manage to find a few bits off shpock and a couple charity shops today so there's that. Some Disney figures, a viking chess game, a book, and some lego. Not the same as coming home with bag fulls from the boot, but scratching that itch a ill.
It does become an addiction that is for sure - nothing beats the thrill of the hunt :)

Great car boot Nic. At 01:45 the 'On the Buses' board game would've been worth checking if all complete and in good condition as it's between £10-£27 on ebay:) All the best.

Yes the subject matter is certainly very emotive and disturbing, but I see it as an important historical document of the time and as such is a rare and important find... Andrea can't even look at them and I understand why.

Just wonder how you got on with the Nazi stuff on ebay. Their policy is fairly strict though I feel inconsistent. I recently bought a German WW2 flagpole top at an auction. I stuck it on ebay only to have it withdrawn very soon afterwards, no real reason given other than it breached their policy. ( impossible to engage with ebay by email over this. ) I found this action strange as someone else had a very similar item on sale on ebay at the same time but they cut out the swastika in the photos. ( classed as being de-nazified) but it was fairly obvious that the actual item was intact.
I then tried facebook marketplace with similar action taken. Luckily it was up long enough to be noticed by others and I got the sale
EBay are hypocrits,they even stop Cuban stamps being sold,they need to move with the times and stop their 'whiter than white rule the world' attitude,they are far from pure stealing money from postage for a start.

I have tried both, used to have our own website, and shpock was OK but had more time-wasters than actual customers

don't think i would describe Nazi memorabilia as fantastic belongs in museums only and body who "collects" it is sick and twisted would not touch it if was been paid to do so, also think it is banned off eBay for good reason
I understand your point of view, but as a historic document it should be preserved. Going to seek advice on the best way to deal with moving it on.

I thought it was an excellent find. It’s history. There’s nothing sick about discovering historic documentation.
