Great video as usual. Do you use Royal Mail 48 instead of 2nd class? I think 48 is dearer so interesting to know why you use it? I know it has tracking on it and im interested in using this service for my orders rather than 2nd class. Thanks
Wow great video, do you have any videos on how postage works, in terms of having the ability to print your own labels, how you drop off the parcels and how they process it etc. As it clearly seems different to taking an unlabelled parcel to the post office and joining the queue etc
Hey Nic, love the videos! I remember when I started selling on eBay, I had to show everything, measure, and weigh..is this what you do as well? I normally went ahead and would pack mine all up with a note of what was inside, that way if it sold it was already boxed, I would just add the label..love your set up, very nice and organized!!

Hi Nic. Great video, very inciteful and helpful. One question: what is the additional label that prints off along with the address label? Is it necessary? Because if not then could you set the label printer to just print the address label? It'd save you half of your labels. Just a thought. Anyway keep up the great content

Always loved the picking and packing. For me, it's the final part of getting the items out the door. I just wish the listing wasn't so tedious!!

What label printer are you using ? I bought a cheap DYMO labelwriter 450 few years back and it doesn’t connect via WiFi, only via USB cable, additionally from what I can tell it is not capable of printing the address size labels like you have here which means I have to print it out on a laser printer, cut the label and tape it on which is quite time consuming compared to a quick sticky label.
Brilliant living the dream. I had a store back a few years ago but didn't have the space or the right finances in place to sustain it couldn't compete with musicmagpie etc. One of the best things i ever bought was a small set of scales for weighing items that could go by large stamp. All the best always easy to make money when your heart is in it .
Hi Nick great content and good eBay set up’ is it difficult to maintain margins when you have Vat to pay on all sales or do u keep below threshold? Thinking of expanding but will reach vat threshold soon. I’m manly Amazon FBA

Would certainly love a video on the shipping of these. What label writer you use, what's the process of making the labels you print off etc. We currently just stick stamps on everything from our webstore since smartstamp was discontinued so I'd love to learn more about your method. Do Royal Mail then pick up your mail bag from your location? I looked into that before but it seemed expensive at the time
We use Royal Mail Click and Drop, it links to our ebay account, generates the labels for us, the labels are free from RM. I drop it all off as the PO is just round the corner.

Hi Nic great videos. I am no sure if you will see my comment in order to reply. basically i have been happy selling on ebay for last 5 years with everything going well. Currently ive been using Hermes for almost all my orders. most of my orders go through Hermes import integration with ebay but for my international i have to self input into hermes. Its not to much a problem because i just copy and paste all the details from the paypal order. But now last week i was forced onto ebay payments i have no paypal to paste from. So im having to manually type each individual order which is no just the most pain in the ass time consuming nightmare, but also opens it up to me making a mistake especially with global reference numbers. I cant copy and paste from the ebay order because it does not allow it. It only gives an option to copy to clipboard. but when i try that it says copied. but then icant find the clipboard. Today i tried for the first time ebay labels and the label reference is too small and unreadable unless with a magnifying glass. Why has ebay always got to create things to make life harder all the time.

Occasionally we buy a dud and make a loss, but those are few and far between thankfully

How and where do you get the recorded delivery orange stamps for that is signed for , and where do you get your bags from for the Royal Mail . Would be ideal if you did a dedicated video in the sending off process (set up ) with the post office
You open a business account with royal mail. You need to sell a decent amount to make it work. Buy a zebra label maker at about 160 quid and then you get free labels and bags on the supply website
