The problem with carboots is either everyone wants something for nothing and they mess you around, or haggle you down... if you are buying, it’s hard to find a stall that’s selling to make space (and will allow haggling) rather than selling for profit so either way you can’t win

Do a few car boot sales a year just to clear out old stuff normally Easter and the summer holidays, when it's nice.

Love doing carboot still manage to get round to buy from them but haven't had time to go to one to sell for ages.
