Recently, I was asked what are the most common errors students make on a CELTA course. So, although it's pretty hard to say because all the languages are different, here are some thoughts on how you can try to prepare for this.
A lot of the preparation depends on identifying what the L1 one of your future students will be on CELTA course. This is because their native language influences the errors they make when learning English.
A great book for this is the one edited by Swan and Smith called Learner English ( celtahelper.com/recommends/am... )
You can also get a checklist for questions to ask before your CELTA course from a blog post over on my blog here celtahelper.com/celta-course-... - This should help you to identify what languages you can expect to be teaching when you start your course.
Otherwise, you will have at least two levels to teach and errors depend greatly on what level those students have, in addition to what their first language is (L1).
Don't worry too much about this - you can't really do much more than the above, but just doing this will obviously help you to some extent.

Hey, I'm currently surviving my 3rd week on CELTA! I must say your that videos, and content are a goldmine i would surely support you once I use this certificate to get a job !
I just wanted to say that I went to this course blind didn't revise anything and I'm doing just well(and I'm not even a native speaker), biggest problem for me and all others in the course that pushed some to even cry is by far time management, ALWAYS START WORKING ON YOUR ASSIGNMENT THE MOMENT THEY HAND IT TO YOU
and ALWAYS PREPARE YOUR TP A BIT EARLY
and you will be just fine ,if you delay just one assignment till last day it will ruin your entire schedule and everything will pile up .
