This video handled and broke down the torque arm installation to it's very simplest bits. The explanation has made a process that I found rather complex to be very intuitive for me. For me, the video has covered all the aspects of the conversion and simplified the aspects that would have been very tricky.

My brother had seen a similar tutorial and tried doing this himself based on that video tutorial but got stuck at the point where he wanted to install the pedal. But this video showed how it completely works from removing the old pedal to installing the sensor and magnetic ring. My brother was able to install the pedal himself after watching this video.

Lol adding more power to a mountain bike is kind of silly. As someone who has actually done a lot of trail riding, it’s less about having more power and more about coordination and control. More power in that situation will lead to a wipeout if you don’t have the coordination to match the speed.
In addition, Specialized MTBs are not cheap, so I’m not sure I would what to cannibalise one by running its tires into the ground on the roads. Not much money saved here.
I understand why you went for it, because it gives more surface area to install the parts, but eh. I would feel better about a road bike/e-bike conversion than this.
