To unlock EZ Rider Kit: With the power on, hold the left and right arrow which brings up a very clear user menu to adjust all parameters including max speed and wattage.
How fast does it go unlocked?. My brother is cycling to work 5 miles away but its all up hill on the way something like this to put on his bike would be great.

Unlocked i could pedal this single speed bike assisted at around 23mph on flat ground and almost 30mph down hill.

Iv'e unlocked my kit and upped the max speed but would you recommend changing the wattage? if so to what?
I was going to buy the andy Kirby kit but I ended up buying the Vetus E-Escarpe 290 VR e-mountain bike and got a black Friday deal I t went down from £4,399.99 to £2,699.99 so I pulled the trigger on the bike today full suspension Rockshox front and rear 650wh my old bones need the comfort 😂

Did you figure out from the configuration menu if it is possible to change at what crank or bike speed the power assist kicks in?
I didn;t look around for that but it's a pretty vlear menu layout with instructuctions on screen which button to move around or changer anything.

@@rosstituteuk ok for introduction , I’m only getting max speed of 30 km/ hr and about 26 km distance on battery, no matter how I adjust the parameters it doesn’t seem to make any difference . Maybe someone can advise me on what settings? That would be fantastic.
@@aussiejon6317 appreciate the reply. i'm considering it for road use, so will be limited to 15 mile per hour. If you were getting it again would you go for the same kit, or would you have something else in mind?
@@rosstituteuk different kit , it’s ok but lacks the performance that other kits provide. Had an old guy tell me his bfang kit goes 70 - 80 km/ hr . Look local and there will be someone who installs kits on your bike is what he said, so next time I will and I will keep this kit for the wife’s bike.
The Switch kit has 5 levels of PAS . . .which can be operated from the screen . . . .what about this one ?
3 levels adjustable on screen. I think you can increase to more in settings but I don't see the point in doing that
@@DudeStuff #1 or Eco setting is pretty useless as far as assistance is concerned. #2 kinda helps but it is #3 that really gives a noticeable acceleration and assist. I am coming to the conclusion that the thumb throttle option is the way to go, especially when pulling away from lights etc in traffic. Have not fitted nor see any value in the brake sensors
@@Kathikas1 I have a bike with throttle AND power assist, { Bafang BBSH02) the throttle is nice at lights and on hills, the power assist tho extends the range, depending on level used...... On the flat, with throttle, I get about 33mph average for18 miles,. but with eco setting , again, on the flat,I got 71.1 miles, 14 mph average.
Do they do this kit for fatbike rim Wheel 26 -4 inch tires .?
Not that I'm aware of, they supply 2000w fat bike kits
