This hits home so much for me, for about 6 or 7 years I had a best friend until someone started spreading rumours about me and everyone began to hate me. That was one of the worst times in my life, I would be all alone all the time and I still miss her now 4 years later but I am thankful for everything she has taught me, it is painful to see that my ex best friend and the person who spread rumours are now best friends, I see them around school and it hurt but I am thankful for the lessons I have learned from both of them.

I'm reading all these comments about best friends turning into strangers. At my school, I'm in 8th. It's my last year of middle school and I've seen 3 best friends break up already in one day when they've been best friends for 5+ years. My best friend and I have been best friends for 5 years. She's helped me through ALOT, and I have to. We've always been there for each other. She's basically like the sister I've never had. But I'm afraid that after middle school or after high school we won't be best friends anymore. And even through we plan on moving in with each other when we go to college.
