Hello! So my 2017 Chevy Malibu was leaking fuel, has a strong gas smell, stalling and losing power when I was at traffic stops. Could it be as simple as just changing the seals instead of replacing all the injectors?
I keep hearing of "plugged" injectors on the LT1. If you have the injectors out, can you run some cleaner through the injectors to clean them or do they need to be replaced?
@@ghostlyrich There is no need to lubricate the rings; they are installed without lubrication. There is a microfilter at the injector inlet; it is tedious to replace it and wash the injector inside and out. And then run 40-120 Bar on the stand.

Definitely worth checking around fuel injectors to see if fuel is leaking from the seals

Do you did this job cuz what was your issue on your vehicle? If you don’t mind the question
I did it because i built a new motor and wanted to change all the seals to ensure no possibility of leaking.

You can send them out to get ultrasonically cleaned
@@ghostlyrich Thank you. I would guess most people just replace them. Is there a huge price difference?
@dkevvv depends if you have somewhere local.
