I really appreciate the intro as I don’t get to plan my days. I fish when I can given my schedule and drive to the coast. Another great video and the effort you put in to doing these is also appreciated. Wishing Delanie and Sean the absolute best of luck.
Here's hoping Delaney and Shawn have a healthy baby ! And, WOW ! Those pics of the big sow Specs y'all caught were AWSOME ! You're definitely getting better at "putting together the pieces of the puzzle" to find where the Big Girls are hiding, especially with the crazy weather pattern we're in this year. Another good video, you're a Good Man for helping out your fellow guide Mike, and Tight Lines !
Love this type of content. It is refreshing to hear someone talk about the wrong conditions. Me as a weekend warrior more times than not get the wrong condition similar to the tournament guys. Keep up the great content can't wait to piece together this puzzle.
It’s definitely a puzzle. Sometimes big trout don’t play by the book either. High pressure, no wind, cold water and a slack tide make it a grind. Water being too clear is hard too. Love the video. Guessing by the pics, you were in E Matty? Definitely a good population of slobs in that bay but they don’t get that big by being stupid either.
We went out with Nick this past Saturday and it was nuts! I think he called you at some point. Anyway, Had to run from the rain and take shelter at the Crab Trap until it passed. He worked his ass off for us and it ended up being a great day. Saving my pennies to book with you next!
Thanks for making the drive! Great content as always!! Best wishes to Delaney and Sean!! Let Cade make it, you couldn’t hear him on the video at all 😂😂😂
A planning your wading trip winter addition would be awesome to go along with this video. Seeing how you plan a trip has helped me out tremendously. Thanks for the great content man!
Another great video.! I’m learning something new every time you post one. And you didn’t mention “lethargic fish” once. I’m looking forward to the next update. Thanks!
Here’s some things I hope you cover in future videos: video of you working a corky; how to choose which corky colors to use; do you upgrade the hooks?; do you put ProCure on your lures? Leader length and pound test?
Caleb I've had major luck with straight live mullet. My gf and I learned that we freeline mullet and catch 60% hook up... Caught my pb speck 23 ....plus a really fun way to catch..focus is a must
Hey! I have two possible topics of discussion. One is how you fish certain types of plastics. Do you fish them up high? On the bottom? Suspended? Second is can you give a tutorial on how to read google earth? Demonstrate how different depths look, oyster beds, grass, etc. thank you, love the videos!
I would have to disagree on that $300 rod. Sensitivity and telling the difference between catching a piece of grass and a fish taking your lure comes with practice and experience. A $300 rod isn't going to make a an inexperienced fisherman a professional Angler.
Mike McDonald That’s true- but a sensitive rod makes bites easier to detect for an angler of any skill level. It makes a better angler.....a better angler.
I’ll be able to do a little more of thst when tourney season rolls around and I’m fishing on my own!!. I don’t think my customers would appreciate me messing with cameras and what not instead of giving them my full attention..
Wondering if you might show some scene shots of why you like simrad. I think it is because you have google overlay. Is that standard with simrad or a certain chip you added? Does it have enough definition to show reefs in mid bay areas? Enjoyed the boat walk around video you did. The trolling motor tender plug solved an issue I had cursed about for some time.
@@CaptCalebTV And those gold star customers can get a copy of that chip? LOL. Is it a C-Map chip or an add on chip that can be purchased when you buy a unit? Running older Lowrance model so looking at what to do in future.
Hey Capt I don't have social media but cant find anything on Pat other than social media. How do I get a hold of him to try to schedule a wade trip. I thought I heard him on bite me saying he had some openings in January
Not really. Just get really worn down after multiple days straight guiding. I ran 17 trips in 12 days earlier this month. On the last day, I could remember 4 of them. This was about 11 pm after multiple days straight and a double that day. I think I have developed a stutter. 😂 jk. Kinda.
@@CaptCalebTV Thanks, Captain, for the special reply. Was not trying to bait you, and even if you had a Shiner or two, I'd say you well deserved it. You are clearly busting your ass, and we all appreciate it. I especially like your videos because they are the perfect length - chock full of the info we need, but not too long either. You have a winning format here, and this, coupled with your work with Scott and John on Bite Me, has really been a blessing for us all during 2020. Here's to you, Steve, and all the Bite Me family - looking forward to a productive 2021!
Great video man. James and the guys form yesterday are my coworkers they all had a great time 👍🏽

YESSSS!!!!!!! Sorry I just get excited when I get a notification saying a new video was uploaded 🤩🤩

Big trout are special....thanks for including the pictures!
Lucky to have some to show y’all!

Nick is a kick@$$ guide! We talk often out there. That was a brutal day to be out there! My guys got off the water early Bc they were cold and wet!
Congratulations Delanie and Shawn!!! And, as always, thank you Capt. Caleb for another great video!
Thanks for making the drive! Great content as always!! Best wishes to Delaney and Sean!! Let Cade make it, you couldn’t hear him on the video at all 😂😂😂
I cut out that part. Boy was wildin out. Slightly competitive. No idea where he gets that. 😂
Best wishes Delaney and Shawn!
Capt, Thanks for your insight. Really look forward to your videos!

Congrats on the baby!,
Sometimes you just have to go back to the dock and crack open a few cold ones.
I fish East Maddy mostly. I’ve seen ya a few times. Great videos man. Will have a cold one with ya if I see you at the harbor one day !
Hello.....New to Your Channel and really like your input and info......looking forward to more content from you !!!!! Thanks !!!!!
Welcome to the fam!
thanks bud hopefully we will be back soon!!!

Another great video thanks for sharing and thanks for all the helpful tips
Excellent video.

What would be considered high pressure, low pressure and a pressure you want to fish?
Good stuff man. I hit the subscribe button!

Can’t wait to get out on the water and top my PB of 29 3/4”! Keep up the great videos man!
Keep getting on the water and you will. That’s a tall order, though!
Yes, great stuff Capt. couldn’t agree more on the custom rod/ sensitivity factor for winter fishing.
@@CoastalK believe me, there are sensitive rods out there for a lot less than $300. The falcon rod I use was only $85.
Good stuff Capt.!
Congrats on the baby! Life changer for sure! Caleb, we need to go fishing dude. Tired of talking. Text me when you have time.
Hey capt!! Thanks for the video. Keep up the good work. Would like to see more informative videos made from boat or wade fishing

@@CaptCalebTV yes sir. I understand!! Looking forward to your videos!!
Good luck with the baby Delanie and Sean/Shawn
Best channel on YT
Thanks for the kind words!
@@CaptCalebTV “that’s my opinion.....also kinda true...”. Great quote
In your summer rod video, I think you mentioned you would do a video on winter rods. Still planning on doing one?
Certainly can!
Does catching big girls at the bar count too? Asking for a friend.
Congrats on the baby girl Delanie and Shawn.
Love the content, thanks for another piece to the puzzle🤙

Yes, the simrad runs my mapping really well. I can see mid bay structure for the most part. It’s a chip I have, not native.

You don’t know till you go.
I have to base a lot on customers skills. And 90% is zero skills. Casting lures? Haha, they'd never catch anything!
Sooooo basically mud and shell 😭
