How To adjust a Kia Sorento hand brake cable

I simply removed the handbrake cover and used a 10mm socket to tighten it, took about 2 minutes. Did not need to remove anything else.

How did you remove the cover and put it back?

Just pull down the boot and tighten with 10mm socket
Don't try pulling out the boot from the bottom

@@giles200sx Another video on TH-cam shows you can use a flathead screwdriver and very gently pry at the plastic from the bottom of the leather cover to remove it. That worked for me.
