Met John in Ottawa about 13 years ago when we took our kids to see him because he was one of the few clean acts. After a great show in which I never saw my wife and kids laugh so much, we bought one of his audio CDs and stood in line to get it autographed. When it was finally our turn, he immediately noticed we only had one cd between the kids and proceeded to give us another one and sign them both. He was such a personable man. You felt like you'd known him forever. The whole family was so sad to hear of his passing. He is missed but not forgotten.
When my two sons were trying to learn to be funny I showed them John because like you said he was one of the few who was clean and the whole family was hooked.
@@c827q Yes. I would imagine many families have enjoyed his act for much the same reasons. There weren't too many like him for sure.
As a professional musician I was fortunate to work with many comics. He was in a class of his own. Like a dear friend, Pat Cooper, who also passed, he will be greatly missed.

What a wonderful story, Christopher. When I introduce John to people who never had the chance to listen to him the line I always use is, "I don't know what gluten is but it must be delicious!" He was funny, of course and one of the best (actually to me, my favorite) and the artistry of his routines was something the whole family could relate to. He was a true artist and a comedic master.

I’ve just started watching John’s videos. He was so funny.❤❤❤❤
John was a natural. My best find of 2024. 😂😂😂
"If it doesn't have a casino and a buffet it ain't seaworthy" LMAO
I just recently discovered John about 1 month ago. Today is February 2, 2024. He is soooo funny he makes my tummy hurt. I wish I had discovered him much earlier on TH-cam. I'm soooo happy many people have added his videos to TH-cam
Completely agree, janie. I'm not sure how I coped before I discovered him, quite by chnace, at the start of 2024. [I'll soon be 71, btw]. Put simply, I think he was a genius.
Discovert him recently. So funny. To bad, he has passed away ❤
The world is truly a little shatter having lost this great man😢
Miss this guy...💔 Not only the funniest story teller... but his facial expressions are hysterical...😂
Yes, one of the best.
@@leeedgar70The gag face 😅
“Get out of the line”
After all the comedians I've seen, John still had the best facial expressions of all of them. What a legend.
What a legend!
That Ewok impersonation was on point!
RIP you wonderful human!
John you are truly missed , thank you for so many smiles.
I've watched his material over and over again
John was a true talent. I'm the guy who is hard to make laugh and John could make me laugh just seconds into his act. You are truly missed.
Ditto I sit and rarely laugh at comedy show’s which pisses my husband off, but it has to be really funny for me to laugh out loud, but I sit here by myself laughing out loud at John’s jokes! I wish he was still around to go see a show if his because I know I would be laughing with everybody else at a comedy show for once! 😂
Ya.
I love John! I watch his comedy specials over and over. I love his facial expressions and how he giggles at his own jokes. Every time I see him I wish I could just give him a big hug. So funny, such a darling, personality. Wish I could’ve met him. He’s in my top three favorite comedians. Miss him!
I love when he sings in his routines and his impressions, too!
My all time favorite! So funny and something that should be appreciated is the work he puts into his routines. He was a comedic master.
It's now Dec 30, 2023, and I still take every opportunity to introduce John to everyone. How many times have some of us seen these video's? And, we laugh every time. His Montreal video's are very special.
I recently introduced my granddaughter to John Pinette. When she heard him say ‘nay nay’ she laughed so hard.😂😂
Man, I ❤ John...may he RIP😢. As a big guy, myself, even rewatching his videos, I'm always damn near crying with laughter. Such talent to pick on himself, come up with such hilarious routines ❤❤❤😂😂😂😂
When he first comes on I begin to tear up ~ I can't bear it, want him to be alive and be happy. Then he starts and I laugh. What a gift. Crying and laughing, ~ loving life .
Thank you, John.
Th
He was great I think very handsome too I'd love to meet a man like him
RIP John. He was the best.
What a gift he was
I just had him come up in my feed and it's bittersweet that I'm just getting to know him. Now I get to search for all his stuff at once but I wish I knew about him all these years.
Me too
Me too
I’m on the same journey for the same reason . He is so funny 😆😂
RIP John, you were a great comic.
I wish John Pinnette could know how much and how hard he made me laugh. Laugh so hard tears ran down my legs! I never saw him live but never tire of his videos and laugh as if the first time. Heaven must be in hysterics.
RIP JOHN PINNET 🙏 😢 WE MISS YOU SO MUCH 😢
this guy is an ABSOLUTE crack up ...I cant believe first time i see him in 2024 ....after another small jewel i got sent on instagram...now i cant get enough of it!!!😂🤣
Great humour and stories, I only recently discovered John and really enjoy the shows. RIP John. Heaven has a great soul.
Absolutley brilliant
John Pinette was such a delightful comedian. He didn't have to spray us with foul language to be comical. Funny, how comedians seem to think foul language is necessary, but I digress. He had such wonderful gifts! The expressions on his face were priceless. His coined phrase, "Nay! Nay!" cracks me up every time I hear him say it. After hearing his impressions, (in my opinion) he also, could have had other careers to choose from, although, I am very glad John chose comedy. His comedy still entertains the many, and will continue as long as we remember. I wonder if he had any idea how much he would be missed by his fans? As far as I am concerned, the happiness and laughter that John Pinette left behind, will not be forgotten! Rest in Peace, you dear man!
shut up.
Other so-called "comedians" use vulgarity, racial nonsense and other lowbrow techniques because they HAVE NO TALENT!
Plain and simple!
And.."GET OUT OF THE LINE !!"
....he cussed a lot wtf are you talking about?
@@philswaim392Not by comparison.
Great Comedian really funny guy.
You don't mind hearing him over and over.
The world is less of a place without John in it.
Not true
Very true. He was a treasure.
Way too many dead fat comedians... :(
May you rest in peace, John. Your contributions to comedy will always be treasured and keep you forever in our memories.
Completely true
I cried..of laughter and sadness too…miss that man..
"FROSTY'S DEAD!" 🤣😂😆
One of the very best! A G.O.A.T.!!!!
What talent this man was..so happy to see these clips again..
What a amazing man.couldnt stop laughing please keep the views available
Great! I am from the UK. I have discovered this brilliant comedian on youtube. He makes me laugh out loud. I am going to follow him! Imagine how devastated to find out he has passed on. What a tragedy. RIP to a great guy I never knew.
Decades later I still crack up.
I’m from ottawa. January is hell. And yes beaver tails are a real thing.
Nay nay!!! What a catch phrase, that and "get out of line!!?"
Ive watched this over and over and still laugh as hard as if it was my first time..such a funny man..RIP
ONE OF THE BEST
For all his "bluster", he had such a good heart. You can see how much he loved his audience and how it returned the sentiment in equal measure.
He makes it look so easy and effortless. Genius 👍.
ONE OF THE GREATEST people in the world. RIP ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I watch my favourite comedian Fluffy alot and this man use to show up on my shorts. If I didn't rread these comments I would have never known. What a shock!!! I thought he was the funniest man I'd ever heard. God bless you BIG man. I miss you already.
It's sad when the great comedians die young . I never had a chance to see John Pinette.
Now this is the kind of celebrity you want to meet! I wish I’d known about him when he was touring. I only saw him on tv.
Seems very down to earth. 👍
What a great guy, so funny it hurts.
I don't think we'll see the likes of John again.
He's unique in his material, delivery, timing and his honesty.
Rest easy John, you've earned it.
As an elderly asthmatic, I have to use my inhaler BEFORE I watch him. I laugh so hard ... puff puff. I need mote adrenaline but I'll die laughing. 😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤😊😊
My Gawd. Dude was a Comedic Genius.
You Go Now!! You Been Hee’aah Fo’ Owaaah’
Only came across John Pinette recently, on TH-cam … odd that I’d never heard of him, because he’s the kind of comic I’d have thought would appeal to the British sense of humour.
When I heard that he’d passed it kind of reminded me of John Candy, another young comic taken too soon. RIP you were a funny guy :)
each time that I watch this, I laugh harder than before.
He really Was An Amazing Person, insight insight kind of person . Really Wish He Was Still Around
"You applauded for beavertails. You really are my people." Oh, John, we were your people the day you first stepped on a stage. The world is a much darker place for your absence, "beeg boi", you are greatly missed. RIP
Thank you. Beeg Boi my favorite and gag face and noise.
@@deliawright8626 The minutes that were the 'all the raw stuff you can eat' sushi skit, to me, is legendary. Genius!!!
😂😂😂I love how you spelled Big Boy‼️ Definitely gave you thumbs up ‼️
“Peakaboo Pinette” 😂😂😂
God I miss this guy!
John, thanks for all the laughs.I will see you again. Hope you are still telling your stories
Never gets old 😂❤
It takes a lot to make me laugh. But, I laughed so hard my sides, my chest and my stomach hurt.
He is so good at everything he does. You are truly missed 😢
Reminds me of Jonathan Winters...love his skit on "All You Can Eat Chinese Rest."Hilariouly funny.😅
Will truly miss this incredible young mans comedy in my life! Why does it seem like only the good die young?.. One of the absolute best comics I've ever had the pleasure to listen to, the man had a style and stories all his own.
I cant believe I had never heard this guy. He was truly hilarious, I wish I could have seen him
Hello Susan
How are you doing today?
Nearly everything he did is online. In my opinion that's better than going to an event live. Plus if you have to take a bio break you can pause it.

He is great sad its hard to find his stuff and also he was the mom on hairspray the musical on Broadway
Today, I'm seeing him for the first time, and I'm hooked . Thanks for all the videos.
God bless John and his family. Truly a genius of laughter, clean/family friendly and his righteous indignation and ability to laugh at himself. I caught his last show before he passed and the world is a bit dimmer without him in it.
John! You Will Be Missed. There will Never be another you.
I could watch John's routines over and over again! May he rest in peace.
John was truly awesome! I have an old VHS tape with one of his comedy routines! 34 dislikes seriously? 34 miserable people and more sadly! What losers! Society today stinks! Peace to all his fans!
Luckily, for us, we have a sense of humor. Some people do not, and they are missing out. It’s nothing better than laughter in this world nothing.
I don't get what you're saying.
Mont Gabriel is the first hill i ever ski ! lol
Gone but he will Never be Forgotten. RIP 🙏. If I'm having a bad day John makes me forget what was bothering me. 🙏🙏
Is ,was and always will be funny. As one of your people, thank you for your continued therapy RIP John
I swear, John could have been a great singer.
Mike The Magic Man he has sung before. Look up John Pinnette in Hairspray

"Hiking is a walk that sucks." God I miss this man!
Pure natural talent. RIP JP 😔
I love when he laughs at his own jokes! Lol
I'm sad that I only recently have heard of the man. But not only do I mourn for him, but also the country at large . . . because he was what we'd only consider hefty today.
One of the few comedians I wished I could of met and give of hugged for the joy he brings
Mr. PINETTE IS SORELY missed! 🥺. An AWESOME Comedian!! 😔😭💖
Hello Dear
How are you doing today/
What a guy applause from southampton United Kingdom

Thank you for all you gave us John. We were always going to wish for more. I know wherever you are and whatever is next, with John it will have laughter. John Pinette thank you for all the enjoyment you brought to every stage or gathering.

He was a natural. He didn't seem like he ever prepared those jokes. They came naturally. 6:15
Damn he was brilliant. Sadly missed. MY favourite comedian.
😂YO the Eewok impression was PERFECT
What fantastic entertainment!!!
This is one of his best performances in my opinion.
God I miss John. He brought a lot of smiles to this world.
One of the greats. Too bad we don't have more funny comedians like this in 2018.
And he was relatively clean!
Yes there are a lot, you just don't know them
Even worse now. 😅
We do they're just political
R.I.P. John you were hilarious and you will be missed.
THE BEST!!
The ability to self-depricate is a hallmark of good comedians. John always had that down.
His story about buying a warranty for toaster made me laugh because a cashier in Walmart asked me if I wanted to buy a warranty for a $12.00 meat thermometer. Really… Miss John, he is hilarious.
He was adorable. What a talented comedic genius. Why do the great ones leave us?
Hello Katherine
How are you doing today?
They make poor decisions in their life
@@mrobvious1100😮😮😮
He died from a blood clot in his lungs.
What wrong decision did he make?!?
Don't judge when you have nothing to base it on. 😊
@@colleenknapp8626 it's amazing how you oversimplify things. He died from multiple surgeries in an attempt to lose a massive amount of weight. The embolism was post-surgical
This guy is so funny 🤣 back in those days was so great 🤣🤣

He was so funny. I miss him.
The Water Park bit is a classic.

John was a true master of his craft in so many ways.
Yes he even perfected his facial expressions.
