I like how their tactical officer goes into diplomatic mode once he realizes that the Melkotian's motives aren't malevolent. "Then we have a problem, sir." This is the embodiment of Roddenberry's vision for Star Trek. Defend yourself if absolutely necessary, but always try for a diplomatic solution. Thanks so much for all your hard work and for sharing this.

Such a fun romp through the forest, love the phasers and tricorder. Good effects too and what a cool looking ship! reminds me of a TMP era NX refit or something close, really cool.

This is a good example of when you enter another country or this case visit another planet you must obey local laws to avoid trubble.

On another note, I wish I had known about your productions earlier in my life, because I would have gladly donated any black or camo backpacks to you for use in landing party scenes rather than to Pronto of Long Island (a local charity). Oh, well.

An interesting idea, but the Starfleet crew walk around with weapons at ready like they are in a war zone. just based on some vague "we are attacked by alien monsters" that apparently have done no physical harm?
I think that I'd prefer to err on the side of caution. Ymmv, of course. ;)
What's with the gangster style of the big bearded guy with the phaser rifle! Really that's how star fleet would train its officers 🤔
Another incident that could have resulted in complete misunderstanding and death. If the leader of the landing party had bee less seasoned the whole situation could have blown up. Diplomacy rather than shoot first works...some of the time.
This landing party was there to get some experience. I wouldn't call them seasoned but this was more or less by the book.

Something like that. The science officer looks like my neighbor Carol! I was like Dang Carol! Where’s the premier tickets at! Hook a neighbor up! The security officer looks like my massage therapist! Dang! I’m getting a contact high from watching this. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. I love you guys! ❤️
