I honestly think Eugene doesn't like being involved because he cares too much. He is so considerate of not wanting to harm, upset or offend Wes that he just kind of freezes in panic mode. After being puked on he instantly said it's okay it's not your fault...I think that is just the tip of the iceberg on Eugene's childhood and why he wants to be so careful around babies and children. It was lovely to see him spend some time with Wes and learn that despite what he thinks, he is actually very capable and caring

Eugene's willingness to go outside his comfort zone in this video has always flattened me. The little flashes of him enjoying his successes with Wes (the eating! For real thats an accomplishment!! Lots of women can't produce breast milk. Sometimes they just can't for no reason and sometimes its serious problems, but in reality its a great thing for mom's to do it.

But the context of my comment meant Eugene most likely said congratulations because she was able to produce her own breast milk, not saying all women who don't feed their babies breast milk are undeserving of a congratulations, but since Ariel chose to produce her own milk for her child, its safe to say Eugene meant a congratulations towards the fact that she is actually able to reproduce.
@@CynistrelleAlso I had to go through having really close family members who literally live under the same roof as me have a child, not being able to produce milk for them, and having to buy a special kind of formula for him because he was allergic to basically every other kind out there. It was $50 a can, which was only about the size of a can of tomatoe sauce, and it wouldn't even last 3 days. So yeah, when a mom can produce breast milk for her kid, and she of course chooses to do it, it's a real miracle/blessing. Especially with the hypersensitive kids coming into the world now adays. I mean we were behind on bills because the kid needed to eat. Scary situation for sure.

I refuse to believe that Eugene doesn't thouroughy enjoy this. He's never had such an innocent, caring, happy look in a video before.
Have you seen the video of the guys playing Rugby in Australia with a group of kids? He had that smile in the video too when playing with them. Eugene clearly has a soft spot for the young and vulnerable, especially the misunderstood. He's just scared of inadvertently hurting kids more than actually disliking them.
I think he is an amazing uncle but probably doesnt want to be a dad with his high energy life style. I think he mistakes him not wanting to be a parent to hating babies

This video is quite possibly the most painful to watch anymore. Seeing the relationship Eugene had with Ned and Ariel and the bond he had formed with Wes were so much fun to watch. Now that's all been left in ruins because of Ned's cheating.
I sincerely hope that, in the future, Eugene and Ariel can still maintain a friendship. Wes and Finn deserve to know Eugene and he deserves to see them grow.
