I just realized that they didn’t just wear heels all night. They wore heels all night in BRAND NEW, FRESH OUT OF THE BOX HEELS!
Those are the most painful coz your feet is not used to it plus prone to blisters

Yeah made a similar mistake... Wore new heels ( 3 inches not that much) but then I wore them straight for 14 hours ... Hardly sat for an hour or 2 of that... I had to run in a hidden treasure game thingy and then danced for like atleast 4 hours and then walked home. Horrid bloody blisters... Couldn't walk properly for a week after.
I had on 4 inch peacock shoes and I broke into them every day for a week for an hour before a dance. Personally, I wouldn’t last an hour on 6 inch heels cause they’re the true ankle breakers.

So, for anyone who has never worn high heels before but wants to try but is also scared, here are some tips that will save your feet, save your night and in some cases save your life:
1: Instead of stilettos, opt for wider heels, like Zach did. Those can be actually very comfy, cause your body weight is not transferred to your toes as much. Also, if you live in a place where cobblestone is the primary floor material in the city, you won't faceplant every other step.
Ideally, try to go for a vinage heel style, that is curved to the inside from a wider base, those are surprisingly ergonomic.
2: Again like Zach, try to go for high heels that cover your feet/legs. That stabilizes your foot a lot and your muscles don't have to work as much to keep you from faceplanting. And WHEN you stumble in your high heels, the chances for hurting your foot or ankle are lower.
3: Avoid too extremely high heels. Eugenes 7 inches sure look hot af, but you don't run through town all night in them. You put them on for short periods of times, maybe dance a bit in them and then you take them off. If you WANT those 7 inches, maybe try to opt for shoes with plateaus. A 2 inch plateau is not much visible with a 7 inches heel, but in reality reduces it to 5 inches. And since ages ago, good plateau shoes have them shaped, i used to wear 4-6 inch plateaus (sometimes with additional heel with 2-4 inches extra height) and they were perfect for sqatting.
4: This is the most important one: Takes some flat shoes with you. Especially when you wear pointy heels and also when you live in coblestone areas. Walk outside with your flats, here where i live 'Ballerinas' are super popular, cause you can slip in and out quickly. When you are a few steps away from your destined location, change shoes. If you are tired from dancing in heels and want to rest in a corner, change shoes. If you are just chilling at the bar and it's so dark that nobody sees anything below waistline anyway, change your damn shoes. Giver your feet a rest whenever you can.
5. Afterwards, when you arrive at home, give your feet a cold shower. Massage them, do some stretches (like yoga stretches for runners and joggers are great), circle your feet etc. And if necessary, apply some ointment. And remember the places where you had to apply ointment and get some gel bandaids or something similar with a strong padding and glue that on your feet if you ever wanna wear heels again.
