Hey everyone,
Just a life update. Which college am I joining ? So I have been asked many a time to post videos regarding my CAT experience and tips related to it. I am currently giving interviews and have not decided about the college, so I am waiting for that before posting my CAT journey.
Till then I will be uploading CAT and XAT interview experiences ( which you all have been requesting). So this is my XLRI PI experience. I was selected for their flagship Program that is HRM PGDM. I have converted the college and has taken admission here.

💛What are hustle vlogs?
- So I have decided to start the hustle vlogs on my channel where I will be documenting all the snippets of my life. This year I have planned huge goals for myself and for that I have to be very mindful of how actually I am spending my time. Keeping up with all the different projects and hustles I am finding it very difficult to make both content and also focus on the different sectors of my life. So I will be making weekly vlogs from now on. Whether its productivity or art or travel or any other things, everything will be incorporated in these weekly vlogs. I gave an attempt this year got 48 percentile 🤣.
Xlri is few minutes away from my home.

I wanted to know that Still GD is conducted during interview round or it has been replaced with essay which comes in the xat exam.
Gd round haven't been happening since last 2 years. But these are unpredictable.

There is no cutoff as such. It's not disclosed.

They haven't asked anything to upload with the SOP.

By cv i meant the profile and all your info that your have uploaded. If you haven't then they will ask what you have done in your life and then ask questions

You need to find a hobby or passion
Congrats beta..proud of you..Proud that more n more girls are taking challenging tests and clearing them..Can you tell as to what they really want women candidates to wear? Are sarees and suits with dupatta allowed?Or one must wear only pant suits?Alsoin your opinion can wearing Indian wear go against a woman candidate?
Would advise you to wear corporate formals, i.e. formal shirt pants and blazer.

No such thing needed. If the process requires it you will be separately informed.

My hrm interview lasted for only 10 min. They also did not grilled me. Then why did they took my interview.
This time the number of people selected for the interviews are more so they are allocating less time.

Either is fine. It will be mentioned which one you will have to give.

A week before the class commencement... You are supposed to reach the campus on the day of class commencement irrespective of when your WL is getting cleared

= 2 gap years
@@theartsyi So, people who graduate in june’24 and give cat’24 ans xat’25 that’s considered a gap year as well? I mean in this gap we study to crack these exams, and i feel very few people can ignore their undergrad education and study for competitive, iss saal xlri yah mba colleges meh admission ke liye toh 2nd/3rd sem se tyari shuru krdeni chahiye thi, tab toh pta bhi nhi tha cat/xat krna hai :)

Yes people should ideally start preparing from their second year and give the exam in third year to get an admission after graduation (if you don't want a gap year)
@@theartsyi Okay but what about those who wanted to do well in undergraduation itself, also the interviewers do expect a strong academic performance, plus i was a pg student, plus involved in my subject’s departmental activities fully to grasp all opportunities, since didn’t really join any society of college, i have 5/5 attendance in all sems you know XD
The biggest point is i didn’t know until 5th sem that i had to do mba if want a good career in HR
It's fine you cannot change anything. Either get a job or take a gap year and crack the next exam.

Are you a category student.. because you got admission at 88 percentile.. ?
Nope, I'm not a category student. Just someone with a very good profile + non engineer. And the cut-off for XLRI is actually 87 percentile and there are alot of people with 87,88 percentile here. There is no reservation in XLRI for any category

Ofcourse, otherwise what will you do in XLRI? You are joining it for the programmes , right ?

You can do an MBA in HR irrespective of what you took for undergrad. Ideally best would be BBA
Does xlri focuses much on past academics?
Not really, but it's a factor they will look into and it acts like a brownie points. Once you get admission here, they really focus on acads.

Nope. But you need to perform really well

Not really. So arithmetic geometry algebra. Fewer questions than cat in quants so practice DI more.
