It was sweet and heart touching but sad he deserves to keep the armor I would have let him have it and then some but not everyone is soft hearted but me the milk drinker that I am I didn't know you could do that so I will try I just don't know when the time is right for me because if you drop something in front of the wrong person you will get told off real quick like
I actually crafted him a legendary glass armor, but he wouldn’t pick it up. It seems if it goes past a certain point/value, he won’t pick it up. So I gave him standard glass armor.
From what I can tell he wore it, as the % to steal it is 0%. Bethesda probably forces this character to appear as if he is wearing that apparel, which means they probably assumed this exact thing would happen. Which is funny, considering the fact there are like 3 different ways that you can sell a merchant their own items, but this is the thing they decided to fix.
Not anytime soon, I must go back to my coding projects, which I share on my other channel. Dragonborn DLC has crossed my mind, and I would like to re-do it, but I can’t at the moment.
