@@jameslambert7046 they had disputes regarding Gillian's vocal styles. Gradually it grew up so much that the band dissolved and reunited again after the break but unfortunately Blackmore left it.

The song Woman from Tokyo shows how Richie began to fool around while continuing to the beat of Gillan. The rest just keep playing, understanding this conflict between Gillan and Blackmore
Richie pretty much had enough and he did perform a few more concerts with the band, but I think it was a tour gig in Switzerland or somewhere that he really had enough and quit the band. Richie was pissed off at this concert because he felt that the video should have been recorded at the beginning of the tour when Gillan's voice was alot fresher and stronger, but what pissed him off further was that the production company agreed to have no camera crew on stage during the performances, but of course some of the cameramen ignored this and wound up discovering that it's not a good idea to piss off Richie.

Ian was in a bad voice day and still he made a great job. Btw it's kinda heartwarming to see that even thought Ritchie didn't wanted to be there anymore and his relation with the band (specially with Ian) was in ruins, he still enjoyed playing with Jon.
