Hello harstem. I was wondering if you could make a short video explaining how to choose upgrades. I notice instead of getting attack2 in the first game you get armor upgrade 1 for ground. How do you know when to get armor or weapon upgrades?

He explains it a bit in his Colossus guide, in general vs Terran armor should be better
Always attack for protoss except for armour vs terran (and also attack)
Chargelots really benefit from armour
I remember him saying that you go armor vs Terran, unless you are going for a really aggressive blink parting style build.

Turns out Showtime is really good. No shame in losing to him but dang Harstem was looking good this tournament. In reality though, hes way smarter than the other pros for being on TH-cam and Twitch. Hes putting out amazing content and earning his money in other ways. If you cant win the tournament, teach the rest of us plebs how to get better. Thanks for the content captain and keep it up!

Even though they're all GM, you could really see the skill gap between his first couple opponents and showtime. Aqueron played very well too

@@sz-gn9id calling harstem grandmaster is almost misleading, because he's so much vastly better than most grandmasters. It's like saying Maru is a grandmaster. Like.. yeah, true, but your average grandmaster doesn't even hold a candle to Maru. Same with Harstem. Harstem is closer in skill to Maru than he is to 75% of GM players

Harstem I have a build idea for later. start off harassing get to late game put down 4 robos, and make 8 sentries and make sure oppenent can scount the 4 robos put them all together. Then halluciante in as many collossus or whatever unit is gonna make him quit XD mind game win.

I hateeee when things are covering the bottom right, I mean yes it could have been positioned a little better but in its current position it really doesn't affect anything as you get more information looking at the units than you do looking at the wireframe view

TL;DR No
Your disrupter shots with Showtime were much too obviously bad. You were letting him win out of respect you cheesy bastard. You literally never hit anything with your disrupters, you consistently shot them from the farthest distance possible, NOT trying to zone, but definitely wasting every single opportunity to do real damage. You shouldn't lose to people intentionally, that doesn't get your respect.
So this is the way Harstem makes money out of tournaments nowadays, I see...

You were literally born into the game and spent all your life playing it and you still get wrecked playing it.
Not to say you are a bad player, far from that, and I could not even beat a platinum player who had been stuck at an island for 8 months.
But this just hurts to watch. All that effort and every star aligns perfectly and you are still not the best.
