Off-Leash K9 Training (OLK9) is an off leash dog training business owned by Nick Shalton, and is based in Palm Bay, FL; however, we have locations throughout Central Florida.
We specialize in private one-on-one lessons, and dog behavior consultations. This helps to create a stronger bond between the owner and the dog.
OLK9 is composed of off leash dog trainers with experience and training ranging from the US Military, DOD, US Secret Service, and Private Sector. Our client’s dogs will be trained to have the same level of obedience as most police/military working dogs. This style of training encompasses the core beliefs and philosophy of consistency, fairness, and crystal clear communication that will turn any dog into a well-behaved member of society in any situation. 100% Obedience, 100% Off-Leash!
The system and techniques offered will work for any dog, regardless of age, size, or breed. Check out the hundreds of videos on our TH-cam Channel to see the amazing results we achieve with dogs every day!

I just saved an unspayed 5 yr old BMC from the streets in NC. Have had her 5 days and she is already absolutely wonderful. Had never even heard of the breed. I raised a male ridgeback, she is my reward for having survived that experience. 😂

❤❤❤I’ve had about a dozen or more breeds in my lifetime, I love them all, but the BMC I adopted was so easy and intelligent. Helpful loyal, she taught me love a respect to animals at a whole new level. I would get another male BMC. I can’t see life without them.

Amazing! I just got a bmc shes 4 months and she’s so smart listening and following all commands. Still haven’t mastered off leash with her but we have tried rope and toys ect to stop her from mouthing are hands and arms and toes. She has razor teeth still and I don’t think she means to so the only correction I make when she does it “I tell her no and pull her mouth off limb and then I lightly roll her lip under the sharp teeth so she can feel how they are and she stops. Or is this just temporary because of baby teeth?

They used a shock collar. It’s cruel. Especially for a Black Mouth Cur. I have a BMC. They are extremely easy to train with positive training. Plus, this breed of dog can be very sensitive to being yelled at or hit. Please never abuse a dog including when you’re training them. It just breaks their spirit and it’s very sad to watch. The best training you can do is the training for the human, Praise the positive actions. Don’t set your dog up for failure.

A e collar doesn't mean just shock. Theirs literally e collars that just vibrate from level 1-10 for example. And some have lvl 1-10 vibrate andd an option for shock if deemed an emergency to use.
They're a fantastic communication tool to use long distance or off leash. Not abusive. But tons of amazing opportunities when used properly.

@@esaflaka9155❤I agree, I used to think they’re cruel, but after learning how to correctly use them, I rarely use them. Probably only 3 times over the last 2 years I’ve used it for my BMC. BMC are naturally intelligent and easy to train. My DDR herding GSD’s needed the ecollar which has helped tremendously.
I have great respect for the original commenter as well.
There’s truths in that comment as well. ❤We all love dogs. They make the world a better place and should be treated with love respect and dignity.

❤I never really trained my pup. He’s 3 now and perfect. They’re naturally smart and become incredible when they mature around 2-3. I love mine so much I adopted another. BMC’s rule❤

This video should note in its title that it is a marketing effort alone.

Honestly this is a rather lame video since there is absolutely no one in this park no wonder the pup is calm. It wouldn’t be if there was other dogs, animals, or people around. That and it has an ecollar…
