I had not heard of this actor until he participated in a Universal Studios tour and spoke to our group for several minutes about who he was and what he appeared in. I think that was sometime around 1972 when I was a senior at Turlock HS. I will never forget his telling of how his father named him. I just looked it up on Wikipedia and found that my memory was correct. After that day, I always kept my eye out for him.

I had met Clu back in the 60's at a Chevrolet dealership promotion. I was only 13 but when he saw me, he fell to his knees and asked me to marry him, LOL. Then he wrote Clu loves Donna on my neck that I didn't wash for a week. Never expected that, but left a fun impression on me I will never forget.
