This song is amazingly powerful, emotionally speaking. The lyrics and voice are just so haunting and it feels so sad. To be honest, Edgerunners is what got my attention onto this song but listening to it really brings one scene to mind. If you do the Sun ending, either through the Rogue or Secret path, and Judy tells you that she’s leaving you and Night City. Honestly think this song fits V’s thoughts pretty well in that ending.

The anime just brought people's attention back to the game so they would actually notice the changes. I imagine a lot of people wanted to disassemble Adam Smasher after seeing that anime, and had stopped playing before any of the big patches were released, so they had no idea that the game was being worked on.
Dude this song being attached to all the content in-game makes me feel something fierce. I know it's just part of the opening montage, but the part of Vic and Jackie hugging depresses me so much!
This song played for me just after I helped the Aldecados move camp and I genuinly felt it. I was forced to drive over all the way to the city and just had this song in the background. It made me feel this moment that I just experienced even deeper. It was like a really good TV Drama that just happened where you as the character just wanna step out of the car and scream "FUUUUU**" into the void
Playing through Phantom Liberty and this song came on during the party mission. Incredible experience being fully immersed in this game. Soundtrack is absolutely killer
After hearing about the edgerunners update and all the bug fixes they've made. The care they put into bringing the game from the dead (strangely fitting considering the story) and how emotionally moving the game is that even days after finishing it im still thinking about it. Im ashamed that i didnt give CDPR the chance when it first released and im so thankful that they continued to support it even despite almost everyone writing it off as a dead end. Thank you CDPR and i hope to see more of V's story

It is so powerful to me how the life cycle, the highs and lows, of Cyberpunk 2077 pre and post release so closely mirrors the emotional spectrum felt across Edgerunners and fits the entire vibe of Night City so well. I never quite road the hate train for Cyberpunk 2077, but I didn't play much of it after its release either. And yet CDPR has impressed me all over again with how they managed to not only revive the game in the traditional way through bug fixes and additions, but also tap into the deeper pulse of their universe to create a truly moving, fully realized experience across multiple media.
Great track. It's too bad that the in-game mixing makes it very difficult to hear the lyrics. It's very quiet, especially if the obnoxious & uber-loud THIS IS THE CENTURY track has been on before.
I kinda get your point that you're not an RPG player, but I can assure you it's very easy, try playing some old shcool action RPG like Fallout, Skyrim and The Witcher. I personally started with Fallout and I knew jack shit on how to play the game, but then got used to it and perfected it, and it's the same with Cyberpunk. Just go for it
This was playing for the first time I played the game and met Evelyn at lizzies bar before the heist. Set the mood great and am sad because I haven't been able to recreate it
