I just wanna say I died when they first added Xerxo. Before he was a thing, I role-played a character who wore the clean spacesuit and suffered head trauma, causing him to believe he was an astronaut stranded on a foreign world since the earth looked very different after the nuke dropped. The gimmick I had with that character was that I'd help people and pretend they were aliens, I'd also identify as a bunch of different astronaut names like Buzz Aldrin or Buzz Lightyear going as far as to never remove the suit, believing that the atmosphere the new "planet" had was dangerous to breath in. Edit: Didn't think this comment would get so many likes and responses! To be a bit more specific about the character I played, the exact thing that was ailing him was Dissociative Identity Disorder which is why he never would go by one astronaut name but many such as: Buzz Aldrin, Buzz Lightyear, Mr.Pebbles, Captain Cosmo, Major Tom and Colonel Hartigan. The reason he had the suit to begin with was because it was a costume, but in his fugue state, after the bombs, he believed it was real, which made him also believe he was an astronaut. The weapon of choice is the VATS Unknown for obvious reasons.

The raider attack on nuka world was only a thing for the last 2-3 years from 4. As the overboss we meet was the one that lead the attack on the traders. De walsh would definitely be dead since that’s almost 150-175 years after 76. So the note is definitely a prewar note
Imagine how great 76 would’ve been if they simply removed all micro-transactions and limited time events. And had the multiplayer be like that of Terraria, Halo, Minecraft, or any other game.
Its still great. Those micro-transactions, as you call them, are purely for cosmetics. The best weapons and armor and anything else you need in the game are found by you, hard work. The limited time events make the world feel lived in; they show up for awhile and you go participate, and then they end, instead of always being in stasis. Give it a shot instead of parroting the hate.

I have no issue with the repeatable events because they aren’t limited time, if you wait long enough you’ll always be able to do them. Edit: my biggest issue by far with the game, however, is limited storage. If they simply allowed you to expand your storage or didn’t have a storage cap I’d actually really enjoy the game (I’ve played it quite a bit before).

They're *not* developing Fallout 76. That is done by Bethesda Austin. The main Fallout and Elder Scrolls entries are made by Bethesda Maryland, which has been working on Starfield since Far Harbor was released.
