I’ve just time travelled! The sublime Julia Fordham. How gorgeous is this video. I haven’t seen it since it was shown on the UK Chart Show, over 35 years ago….and hey, what a bonus - guest vocals and a cameo from John O’Kane. Two singers who deserved to be superstars.
I used to play this album every single day when I was in my 20's. I am now 60...where indeed does the time go? Loved it, and will always love it. Thank you Julia ❤
This version is the radio edit from the 3" mini CD single as opposed to the album version which, coincidentally, also appeared on the CD single and is listed as the extended version. The actual difference in length is only 20 seconds or so although interestingly this 4:06 version is listed on the single as 3:54 so as not to compromise its chances of being played on the radio - apparently as soon as you went over 4 minutes, radio stations were reluctant to play your music. PS If you can, try to lay your hands on John O'Kane's two albums (one recorded with Millions Like Us) they're very good.
First time to see this video though ive known the song for while now. I feel like i so lucky to get to watch this ❤❤❤ thank you so muchfor uploading this 🥲

I did the same thing and I am now 57. 😊 I agree! Thank you Julia! ❤
Loved this track in my 20's. The original mix and definitely the best. Such a great voice.
Lovely. Memories of 1988
This is an absolute classic. Stunning song
First listen to it when it was on top of the Pop's and I had to get a record of the song now when I here it just brings back old memories
Yes indeed.. where did it go.. Nice song..
I quote this line, and when i do, i refer the recipient to listen to this masterpiece...
Love, love, love this track. Thanks for posting it ❤
What a voice.❤
Just the best
Can anyone explain why the mix sounds different than the self-titled album version? This isn’t the same vocal as the 1998 version.
It is the same guy singing with her: John o'Kane.
@@g.mandril7975 that much I can tell - but then why does her vocal different? The song is also a different length.
@@rudypalma1250Maybe it isn't just a remix but a newer recording.... although that seems useless 😂
