@jf895 it actually can do that for up to 30 seconds if you get shot at 30000 feet. It's definitely funny watching it happen to my friends that visit but man it sucks when you're in combat thus why I turn it off.
Great video, I love your rig! I too own the H6, the reset and jolt you feel after a crash is actually a bug in DCS. The game is providing a hard reset that jerks the shite out of you. I experience the same jolt as you show in the video. I have tried to tune it out, but when I contacted DOF, they confirmed that it is because the game is sending the reset to 0 all in one telemetry command rather than gently bringing the rig to zero. Here's the thing for me, while I'm not always successful in not having an impact with the ground, the DOF has changed how I fly. Why? Because of the violent crash effect. HA! I have a harness that holds my ass to the rig. This does help me from bouncing out. LOL! I fly helo's almost exclusively now in VR. So, my immersion it fantastic. I do have some of the button panels you have but not nearly as many. All in all, I probably overspent on the DOF6 and probably would have been just as happy with a DOF 3. The other big thing about the DOF6 is the power requirement. The lights flicker in the room when I turn on the rig. Given the few negatives that come with it, I love it and the experience I get from being a simmer. Thanks again for sharing your rig and feedback.
@@LarryJones-go7qj great to know you have had a similar experience and really appreciate your feedback! But yeah, 8k plus all the other stuff is a hard sell nowadays.
@heatseeker1828 yeah man, gotta be non biased on everything. Still love the motion rig but I'd probably spend that money on something else like a real motorcycle er something. But I did it and it was fun. Did you see the sim cave i built for this yet?
Had to watch this in bits. Just finished rhe entire video. This is hands down the best overall and honest review of this device. I only fly helicopters and I've been eyeing dof reality for a while. Recently started looking at eracing lab actuators, and just started paying attention to the new yaw3 as the roll and yaw looks smoother for helo flight. I will make my decision next year at flight sim expo when I get to test them. I agree for combat it can be much, but for those free flight therapy flights in vr, id love the added immersion. My current setup with a bunch of haptics and seat pad feel realistic to a real helo during normal flight already. Thanks for this video it was very entertaining.
I nearly got the yaw but went for the P3, In VR helicopters feel insane. Like it’s another world. The Yaw needs allot of space if you get the rotation but it looks sturdy… not sure about customer service though. The P6 seems too expensive for what it is. On the other hand the YAW has much higher pitch and roll angles than the DOF Reality stuff which could be even more immersive.
@alexsp7086 I certainly have the space, so I've been eyeing the H3 forever, the tilting of the YAW3 in a few helicopter demos I've seen seems to swing in a more natural roll of a helicopter. Like the roll axis swing from under you like center of gravity vs the push pull tilt of the h3... that was the main distraction from dof reality. I understand YAWvr has struggled in the past and that's why they were never an option. However they've been transparent this year and been fulfilling on many promises quick. I will wait another year before I pull the trigger now. Just which do I choose is the question.
I have the eracing labs actuator setup. Just the four corners so I don't have traction loss or surge. I love my setup for racing games and flying. With the RS-Mega+ setup, you can program your actuators so that they don't over react when starting up and finishing a game with the spike filters. For Flying I use the SRS software and for racing, I'm using Simhub. I looked at the DOF stuff before getting mine and got RS-Mega since it can be bolted to your own rig and seemed more rugged as well. What I have isn't the best for flying with just 4 actuators, but it's still bliss when in VR :)
@@dannygaron Yes, if I go that route, all I'd add is dual tl = sway for helicopters flying. They are robust and anything is possible with aluminum extrusion. Big decisions to come, tough choice honestly.
Your wiring skill is mad scientist level congratulations on your rig, I only have an Xbox for MSFS2020 currently. If there's anything I'd do differently with your rig is I'd remove the motion simulator & switch to a sensible seat. Enjoy your flying.
@@theittyreport to be honest this is actualy finaly someone showing the reality it is in motion plattforms. The difference between the flight vs racing/uni is they recently (August 2024) upgrade the motors for flight simming to eliminate the cogging effect many complained about for general aviation. Adds a geared speed reduction of 3 times. It's considered an upgrade actually.
@@theittyreport I believe they offer it at 250 per motor... however, if you choose to return your motor then they reduce the price per motor by maybe 100 each, so total ends up being 150 per motor... andddddddd I'm sorry 😆
You can turn up smoothing to remove most of that violent jolt on loading. Plus for jets you can get the g effect on roll etc. the following will feel much more realistic: Pitch = angle Roll = rate Whereas for helicopters I use angle in both axes.
Electrical engineer here. Love the content; your technical view point and honesty is a hidden gem most TH-camrs don't have! If you could have done it again, would you have gone for an H3? (looking into buying one) They seem like the happy medium of still getting the yaw/sway feeling; plus 2 more degrees of range over the H6. It looks hard to justify the heave (up and down) if it doesn't really show an effect through...lets say turbulence. Biggest thing when I do small prop flying IRL is feeling like you are riding water waves bouncing up and down, and if the H6 can't replicate that, doesn't seem worth it to me; please correct me if I am wrong! I do VR flight simming as well as racing, so smooth and harsh conditions are applicable. Keep up the great content.
@Poodle_Racing truly id say that the h3 is the best choice all around. Now keep in mind I'm no expert on programming the pitch yaw roll etc to gain the most out of each individual aircraft. I did fly in VR to start out and it did and something different to the experience over the flat screens as you were immersed very different but as I get older and my eyes fade after a long day with all the dust flying in my face, the VR only can me 45 minutes before I'm toast. I can easily fly in flat mode for 3 hours. And in VR, I tend to knock my beers over much more than in flat screen mode lol
@theittyreport noted! I can agree with VR. I can only handle take offs and landings. When I do some kind of endurance (beyond an hour) it feels like I just came out of a marathon for the sweat and eye stress I endured. Plus drinking while flying is so much harder in vr!
whenever you get things organized i’d recommend putting your usb hubs in a breaker style, all next to each other and labeled that way if you need to work on it you arent tracing 15 cables to find the right one
@realpiee it's kinda like that and I labeled the cables but what ends up happening is the configuration will stop working after an update and I have to reconfigure everything and change ports etc to make it stable. I have no idea why this happens but I guess it's just a ton of things that are 3rd party and not truly recognized by windows so they get screwed up.
@eyerish. I've kinda tried that but what makes it really hard is the track IR sensor has a problem with cameras because they have a IR light sensor in them to help with light exposure and focus and it makes the track IR go nuts.
Nice setup👍. I had similar USB issues, so added a PCI usb powered card. Adds another USB controller. Also for Helicopters, VR makes flying so much easier (I also have 50 inch triples). I am using a Q3 with OpenKneeboard for Mixed reality, so I can also see my cockpit. Also recommend a WiT motion sensor for motion cancellation. All the best. My motion system has an adjustable spike filter to stop harmfull Gs.
@seattime4075 love VR, have the G2 and the pimax crystal. And totally agree with your setup, but my experience with DCS and VR was short lived after the problems from the open xr software caused. I did a very fair video on both if you have time to check it out. It's at the end of this video
@@theittyreport With Q3 I use the VDXR system that comes with virtual desktop and it works perfectly with DCS, assetto corsa, MSFS2020 and others. Once you use mixed reality and can see/use your cockpit while being in VR, it hard to go back. See the latest videos from Russ Barlow for MSFS and 'The Warthog Project' for DCS
Former USAF aircraft electrician here. Sorry to see your troubles with hubs and wiring. The powered hub disconnecting with motion is 100% preventable. Proper planning, wiring, and securing appears to be an absolute necessity. I love your setup, but spending over 6k for the motion alone and NOT spending a little time and money to wire properly is counter-productive. Almost like buying a Ferrari and telling them to save time and money by putting tractor tires on it. Your feedback and thoughts are extremely helpful and thank you for making the video!
@brandonreiser7739 totally agree with you man! The hub is was using went bad and after a complete new computer build and a complete organization of all the new cables I've got it all sorted since this video. The shaking and crazy shit is still a dcs and dof srs issue that is what it is. Not a problem but an annoyance. Funny you use the Ferrari reference as I use it for contractor work as well. And BTW, I'm into this system for over 30k now not including the new computer lol. Thanks for watching the video and your feedback! Hope to see you in the skys!

Something you might like to know, coming from a full flight sim technician. When you bank, if you are in a coordinated bank, your rig should not roll at all. What that is doing is not what you would feel in the aircraft. It should remain level unless you are in an uncoordinated bank. You should look into this. Hopefully its not something that is coded into the motion software for this rig. Also, the software should be maintaining a "flight freeze" until it realizes that the aircraft is stable and fully loaded in before releasing flight freeze. Same way it works on a 20million dollar full flight sim. With that said, I'm not sure why your aircraft is even doing that in DCS, I've never seen it load in like that.
@serge933 you'd know more than me buddy! Actually have a helo pilot that's flown everything in the army and coast gaurd for 40 years and loves my rig. But he laughs and says that 50% of the time he was scheduled for the military sim it was broken. It all comes down to a PC lol
I disagree, on the bank, you always have an initial roll into a turn causing roll acceleration and a 6DOF solution should always react to accelerations and smoothly return to neutral once acceleration has zero'd. Also smaller 6DOF units use angular pitch and roll to increase the "feeling" of acceleration due to their small throw. Coming from a 6DOF operator, pilot and former military avionics technician.
@ you might want to express your opinion to the likes of CAE, L3, Flight Safety, etc. not to forget MOOG who makes the motion bases for these FFS manufactures. I’ve worked as a flight sim tech and engineer for many years in the industry on top of being a single engine aircraft pilot and flying all the machines of companies I mentioned above. If you were a pilot, you’d understand the forces felt when in a bank are straight down into your seat, not to the side. That’s basic flight theory. If you care, I can show an example as I have these full flight simulators at my disposal. I’d be glad to make a video What I have always seen from small time companies that make motion bases for consumers is their motion cueing is always wrong when it comes to banks.
@@serge933 I'm talking about the initial roll and yes I agree that once you are fully in the turn then there is no more roll, just co-ordinated turn. Your initial statement seemed to imply there was no roll movement at all (hence my comment), did I read that wrong?
@serge933 you would know way more than me for sure. But as a pilot, not yet. However my dad took his 1st solo at 15 in 1955 and his 3 brothers were also IFR twin turbo pro rated so I've flown in the right seat of a king air, 172, and several others dozens of times. Why I still don't have a license yet would be another show. I'd love to see your video on what's the issues with these types of systems. I'm sure there's a way to make it more realistic but I'm betting it's still gonna be very weak in comparison to a multimillion dollar simulator. Thanks!
a lot of stuff you installed on your Rig. Nice. Ive got only the H2 for the Moment. But with Wind,Jetseat Pad and Tensioner and generic Inputs for flying and Racing. Your stuff is a bit wobbly. But when it works nevermind. I also only Sim in VR so also my cable Managment isnt existend and i dont see it anyway. I also switch stuff around sometimes. i have mine set more sensitive. Like when i takeoff in a Huey as soon as i lift the ground i get some minor motions. I highly recommend a Belt Tensioner and maybe VR. For simulating G´s its so awesome in DCS also in Racing. For the violent Motion maybe try adding a button for Motion ON/OFF so you can start your flight with off and when telemetry settles turn Motion on. I guess thats possible in SRS. i think thats a spike in telemtry. You can also view the telemtry data in SRS. Maybe have a look if there are spikes when joining an Aircraft. Maybe turning down the sliders in SRS could also help. They adjust how fast the rig wanna reach its destination from telemetry. Im glad that i only bought the H2 because of better fixing of the upper Platform with one massive Joint. Those Threadrods on the H6 looking a bit thin and wobbly. And with all that stuff attached maybe it increases the wobblyness even more on your Rig. But anyways for that price Point the DoFReality Stuff is very good. Alot to figure out yourself but a 6Dof Rig for under 10k, yeah. But i think the H6 isnt worth it. H2 or H3 are great from them. 6DOF maybe Actuators are better. I have a few Videos on my channel with my H2 also.
@ZaphodBeeblebrox2nd great information man, the conclusion from most is that it's a DCS issue at startup. I can definitely and smoothing to lesson the shaking but it also limits the reaction speed when flying so it's just something I have to put up with. I still enjoy the leasure flying with motion but ace it when in combat missions.
Hhaha that title alone was an instant click for me! I am interested in the technology, but currently on a NLR cockpit with just a haptic pad and tru the a cloned audio channel of the VR link into the audio processing of the haptic pad, an 140W subwoofer strapped to the bucket chair at the back, which does a good job complimenting the precise but more suble effects of the separately processed telemetry based pad haptics with a big bass boom and shaking it adds. First thing I noticed however is you don't have your flightstick in the middle between your legs? It might be a minor thing but for DCS and almost all fighter jets, I really wanted to have the feel of that stick right there where it should be for immersion, even before I bought the cockpit, I'd grab my Warthog hotas, with bottomplate and all and put it between my legs on my regular gaming chair.
@nephildevil unfortunately because of how I get into the seat it would be impossible to mount it in the center. As it is now only physically fit people can get in and out of the rig. But kinda like the f16, the stick is on the right. I've never flown with it in the center so I've never really compared it. The helo guys out there always chime in a scream at me because I use a throttle as a collective. I did a curves video showing how to make it was better but the hate I got from that was actually in the end kinda hilarious
if that's a butt kicker, it has customizable channels, for helicopters turn off gear turbulence as it sends a false constant rumble in DCS for helos!! I learned that and now it's much better @theittyreport Thanks for the video, neat perspective!
@JeffreyEdwards thanks for the tips! I'll definitely try that out. Funny part is that it cuts off when you actually load in during cold start. But on the slot screen it rumbles.
Hmm...thats interesting...i got my h6 in april 2024 and it came with sfu motors, kardans brakes. And it doesnt do the vioolent shakes on startup...also is rock steady. Doesnt move about when its not supposed to. And i have a moza r9 wheel base setup and crp pedals attached to the h6 + hotas setup on the sides.
@carniv0rous I'm sure they've improved the setup since 2020. But I'm way too invested in this system to do it all over. Unless they endorsed me and sent me a free upgrade I'm not taking this apart unless I'm paid too lol
I have the H3, and I would suggest turning up the smoothing effect maximum and compare the jerkyness before and after since you have everything set to maximum.
@aland68ify thanks brother, I've done tons of testing and back and forth and totally agree with you. But I like crazy extreme and have to deal with the crazy crashes. It's more about the respons that I'd liked fixed. There's a way to do it no one has unfortunately
I notice you are using a Warthog Throttle as a button box on the right? I did the exact same thing on my stationary Track Racer TR160 profile 'pit. I also went from TM Warthog to WINWING Orion, and have the WW Takeoff and Combat panels. I'm currently getting ready to slot in a new PC and giving s lot of thought to where I plug in the WW gear so as to facilitate the firmware upgrades. Great setup and video, thanks for sharing!
@FlightSimMuseum thanks man! Yeah the TM broke for a second time so I made the jump. Glad i did as the extra buttons really making cold starts a ton of fun. Check out the mod video I posted at the end of this video. Lots of unique solutions to mounting the gear
@@theittyreport Yeah I have been going through your playlist, great stuff. I ended up assigning my TM as a lighting panel and I use the Orion base for engine start. Such great gear, so flexible! BTW also a musician here (guitar starting in rock then finally clasical). I also had to diversify for the reasons you mentioned, created a fine art coaching business. And FWIW I also fly non VR, in my case with one 85" screen. I may yet go the 3 screen route too! 😀
I noticed that "re-homing punch" as well on a different game, Kayak VR. But then other games are nice and smooth and don't leave you at a strange angle. Like Dirt Rally 2, or Project Cars 2. Both are nice and smooth on reset. Strange.
@@vektracaslermd743 it's a DCS thing. I don't really mind it so much as I kinda just know what to expect. Like a horror movie you've seen too many times, not gonna scare you when you know what's coming
What about adding a hotkey or physical switch to toggle the smoothing effect, so that you can switch it on when you expect to have those sensors fluctuations?
@racingfordummies actually quite the opposite. I use track IR with some pretty heavy curves so I barely have to turn my head to look around. I'm a contractor and former headbanger so I'm very careful how I move my neck. Lots of numbness from various things over the years. I have the pimax crystal as well but much more prefer the triple screens and gear just for the eye strain alone. Love flying in VR as well but for 2 hour sessions, screens are way easier on the eyes. I did a comparison video of the two, I'll post you a link if you care to check out the results
Thats definately a cool setup...is all this stuff in a spare room plugged into standard wall sockets? I always wondered if motion sims would pop a breaker. Thank you for the video. Peace✌️
@tmoshamo actually i wired in two 20 amp circuits on the wall just for this system. Luckily I do electrical work among 1000 other things for a living so I knew how to do a home run from the panel. But I did this because it blew up something in walls and since it's a finished basement I'd be tearing it apart just to find the loose wire. I just canceled the one bad outlet and re-ran 12 gauge wire to a double gang box to two outlets. Way more than enough to cover this system.
Nice setup (and ducati!) I've got a new H3 with the latest motors and also found that initial jerk on loading into DCS annoying but it doesn't look nearly as violent as yours. Idk if that's due to havingfewer motors or if the newer ones are that much better- probably not worth sending yours back for upgrades on that anecdote lol... Do you think you would miss the extra 3 degrees for flight if all you had was yaw pitch roll? I figured I'd upgrade down the line eventually, would you consider the difference worth say half a kidney if you already invested that much?
@voyle419 id buy another 3 dof for racing but not for flight. But it's just another toy at the end of the day. Prices for this stuff is a bit high right now so I'm gonna wait for a bit. Maybe find a used one
@DMan-ud6bt I've spoken to a few others that have this rig and fly DCS and have the same issues. DoF really doesn't have a solution for this due to the telemetry data coming from dcs. If you have the settings on very mild, it really doesn't act this way. But you also hardly feel anything during flight, so it's fun during non combat flights but sucks when you get shot out of the sky.
New to the channel… Why not bolt the rig to the concrete foundation? ALSO, if the “smoothness effect” is turned ALL THE WAY UP, does the rig jar like that on a reset?
@TexasRain104 the foundation of the rig weight is a few hundred pounds and is on carpet so it doesn't move at all. It's the telemetry from dcs to srs that is not great. The smoothing does indeed stop the motion from being so violent in play but if you crash, it still has the same sudden jump on reset.
the ASRock B650 LiveMixer has 13 USB ports although they aren't all USB 3.2, might be great for your setup to reduce the amount of USB hubs just do your research if you actually wanna get it
@boogiehasfun thanks for looking that up man, this system is really over built. at the time due to covid and bit mining I paid 2400 for a 3090 and 800 for the MB. 2 of them came broken took 8 months to get all the right parts.
@randyerickson2154 funny you should ask that, my pod cast will be started soon as I get my camera setup. But yes, hopefully I'll be out on most of the platforms soon. Thanks for watching!
@kriskalisgames totally agree with you, but it's such a small market that I really can't blame them. I'm just glad it works as well as it does. Like a dog, it may bark and shit everywhere and you have to pick up the poop, still, it's worth it some how
@@theittyreport In that case, you're in for a treat. A Force FeedBack or FFB stick uses electric motors instead of springs for joystick feedback, which can lead to more realistic feedback. Think stall buffeting, stronger force at high speed or dragging the stick out of the hand on a harsh landing. I particularly love my Rhino (DIY version) FFB system for the apache, as it can mimic the true trim. When you hold trim up, the spring forces release so its easy to move, then when you release trim it centers the stick in the current position. I love my rhino system as it has a well working software suite, though there are other options such as FFBeast, Moza and iirc Winwing. One thing of note though, don't get too caught up in torque numbers, the rhino's 9Nm is plenty feisty, unless you wanna go over 200mm of extra extension(rhino is taller than most bases, +-100mm equivalent). I'd rather focus on how well the effects are handled, and while some games have them built in, the rhino has the advantage of TelemFFB which adds even more configurable feedback (though as a rhino owner im of course biased). I can send you the discord link for VPforce, the manufacturer of the Rhino if you wish and I definitely recommend looking up more info online.
First of all, thank you for saving me thousands of dollars because I have seriously considered this kind of investment. But I am curious about the hyper-movement when reloading the game/mission etc. It's hard to see what you are seeing on the monitors because of our viewpoint but right before the motion rig goes ape-s**t on you, it appears that there is a bunch of imagery flying by or looping or something that I have never seen in DCS or really any other game before. What the heck is that ? The motion system seems to be responding to all of that video input between flights albeit with a delayed response ?
Worth a kidney? Yes, for sure as long as you still have one left :). Don't want to fly without anymore. When you are out of the first few months of pure sensation and got used to it, it's even better as you learnt how to "interprete" the motion and then it's really helpful.
@orleansjunky4074 it's just some circle magnets with one glued to the top of the screen. Nice thing is that if someone is taller or shorter I can just add more or take some to raise or lower it. I did a video on the mods and install tricks if you go to the end of this video it's there.
@@theittyreport Sorry i am really slow I did not see the gaming videos if you have got free time I would say if you game for say 3-4 hours per record videos and make some what daily if you can

Definitely not worth a kidney. VA paid 96k a month for my dialysis for 6 years and then about 20k for my transplant surgery. This is small fries, homie.
DCS is rotten to the core with telemetry. SRS IS NOT GOOD WITH 6DoF. SRS can't run Stewart platforms. It's just fine for 3DOF, 90% of the market. DCS LUA scripts are a must. MSFS is much better for motion, because the telemetry is consistent. Less is more too. Your add-ons are very complex too.
@b6s4shelter 100 agree with you. As I said, the best part was the racing in dirt rally. But after it's all said, I still get a kick out of the crappy version of motion it gives me
@theittyreport I like your vids by the way. I built a 6dof Stewart and use flypt mover. It's crazy good. The marriage between dofreality and SRS seems half baked for h6\p6 specifically. Seems they aren't spending r&d $ to fix the solution. SRS also doesn't support Stewart platforms.
@b6s4shelter thanks man! I do what I can to let others know before making such a huge investment. I'd love for the dof and srs to work together on this issue but I kinda understand that for them there's so few out there that have this rig for DCS the juice just isn't worthy of the squeeze. Next video I'm gonna do is the true cost of the whole system from start to finish. It blew my mind once I added it up lol
@theittyreport don't do that! 🤣, terrifying idea, I think I'm $10k plus on my setup, without all the winwing stuff you have. Ooooof. Love the content! 😄
And here I am, hiding my winwing hotas from my wife so she doesnt freak out about costs XD. Awesome setup, truely an aviators dream.
@derwutgamer3570 if you hide from your wife you should at least jump out and scare the crap out of her. She'll forget about the hotas I'm sure lol
omg, the rig shaking all over made me spill my drink. That was hilarious
HA!
@demdirtyboyz247 glad you liked it! I'll be putting some other videos together soon with a few more ideas. Thanks again for watching!
Amazing setup man congrats and the Panigale is sick as well, my dream bike. :D

The difference between the flight vs racing/uni is they recently (August 2024) upgrade the motors for flight simming to eliminate the cogging effect many complained about for general aviation. Adds a geared speed reduction of 3 times. It's considered an upgrade actually.
@demdirtyboyz247 awesome to know that info thanks! Also, just let my wife know that it was you that told me to set more money on fire lol
Plus for jets you can get the g effect on roll etc. the following will feel much more realistic:
Pitch = angle
Roll = rate
Whereas for helicopters I use angle in both axes.
@simultaneous2246 ill definitely try that thanks!
@theittyreport noted!
@ how often do you update drivers?
We need some gameplay footage of the rig, it looks awesome! Maybe even some first person stuff if you have a gopro would be really cool
Former USAF aircraft electrician here. Sorry to see your troubles with hubs and wiring. The powered hub disconnecting with motion is 100% preventable. Proper planning, wiring, and securing appears to be an absolute necessity.
I’d be glad to make a video
What I have always seen from small time companies that make motion bases for consumers is their motion cueing is always wrong when it comes to banks.
I did a curves video showing how to make it was better but the hate I got from that was actually in the end kinda hilarious
can't imagine racing or flying on a static rig now after 4 years with my fully self made one. once you go motion there is no way back...
if that's a butt kicker, it has customizable channels, for helicopters turn off gear turbulence as it sends a false constant rumble in DCS for helos!! I learned that and now it's much better @theittyreport Thanks for the video, neat perspective!
@JeffreyEdwards thanks for the tips! I'll definitely try that out. Funny part is that it cuts off when you actually load in during cold start. But on the slot screen it rumbles.

I wonder if this shaking issue at start is just an issue with DCS or if the rig does that with any application.
Does anyone know?
@DMan-ud6bt I've spoken to a few others that have this rig and fly DCS and have the same issues. DoF really doesn't have a solution for this due to the telemetry data coming from dcs. If you have the settings on very mild, it really doesn't act this way. But you also hardly feel anything during flight, so it's fun during non combat flights but sucks when you get shot out of the sky.
Did you ever figure out how to fix the violent shaking at the start?
@@2amProFilms i did, don't turn on the motion platform lol
New to the channel… Why not bolt the rig to the concrete foundation? ALSO, if the “smoothness effect” is turned ALL THE WAY UP, does the rig jar like that on a reset?
@TexasRain104 the foundation of the rig weight is a few hundred pounds and is on carpet so it doesn't move at all. It's the telemetry from dcs to srs that is not great. The smoothing does indeed stop the motion from being so violent in play but if you crash, it still has the same sudden jump on reset.

I dont see a FFB stick, something on the list?
@@FierceFire14 not sure what that is?
@SnowTiger45 yeah, it's not perfect. Definitely not real but it does make it fun.
Worth a kidney? Yes, for sure as long as you still have one left :). Don't want to fly without anymore. When you are out of the first few months of pure sensation and got used to it, it's even better as you learnt how to "interprete" the motion and then it's really helpful.
