  • Finally got the flight Sim Pit tour done. This has been highly requested over the years. I managed to get it under 60minutes somehow. Enjoy!
    I did not get into price/cost because I've honestly lost track of that over time. But If buidling one of these much more planned out today, think at least $5K USD for the simulator, not including the PC. But over time of course it feels much cheaper! :)

    • @AmirMpiana
      @AmirMpiana  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      This is P3D v5 and not MSFS. Yes it’s not quite possible to have these exact views setup in MSFS. Front TV is angled to provide a better perspective when inside the cockpit and allows me to align the views a bit better.

    What software is giving you the g1000 functionality? I really want my sim to be a 182 and i have currently realsimgear g1000s which work fine in msfs2020 with its 172 or the carenado 182, i can also of course use it in x-plane with default 172 or carenado 182….but I think A2A 182 in P3D is so nice a flight model I am tempted to go back to it (maybe on p3dv6 now that it is out…but not sure how to change it to g1000

    • @AmirMpiana
      @AmirMpiana  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I explain it in the video. the g1000 is from simionic and is running on an ipad sitting inside a bluetooth bezel. it’s somewhere around minute 11:40 of the video. unlike the realsimgear units, simionic doesn’t rely on undocking the g1000 from the virtual cockpit. you can use it with any aircraft because all its doing is reading simconnect data and sending to the ipad app, which runs independently from the aircraft you are flying. take a look at the whole video. all the details are there! 🙂

    • @XOrionFE
      @XOrionFE 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@AmirMpiana i watched the whole video BEFORE I asked the question and yes I understood it was a Simionic panel but your video doe not explain the software running the panel. Is that also Simionic’s software? I guess I have to look it up as I am not familiar with it. Or is it some other g1000 software like Mindstar? I guess my question wasn’t clear.

    • @AmirMpiana
      @AmirMpiana  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@XOrionFE Yes everything is from simionic. lookup Simionic g1000 and checkout their website. the software is an ipad app you get from the app store and the bezel you order from their website. you can down the app and listening pc software right away. you don’t need the bezel to use the app. it just completes the unit.

  • @Marcperron007
    @Marcperron007 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Hi. Congrats for your determination and skills to build such a cockpit. I have one question that’s been on my mind for years when I watch these home cockpit videos. you have to zoom in the view to get rid of the virtual cockpit on your front screen don’t you? Doesn’t that change the realism of the view? Or maybe you just block the bottom of the tv screen with your dash and instruments and then you keep the normal pilot camera view in the sim?

    • @AmirMpiana
      @AmirMpiana  ปีที่แล้ว

      In P3Dv5 you can zoom and move the virtual cockpit eyepoint on each view separately. So for the front front screen, I move the eyepoint right up to the window and set zoom only one level from 50 to 60. And the dash does block the bottom of the TV to hide the VC glareshield. But No changes to realism with zoom. In Xplane you have to edit the aircraft 3d model to get this view setup. In MSFS you can’t get this view setup because there’s no separate eyepoint and zoom.

    • @Marcperron007
      @Marcperron007 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AmirMpiana Knowing a cessan door window in only 8 inches tall is there a reason you think why people build a sim cockpit with 35in side monitors?

    • @AmirMpiana
      @AmirMpiana  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Marcperron007 for me it’s just about better visibility. I can’t lower my head in the sim to see through the small cessna window so I just impose it on a bigger screen and zoom on the window.
