- We rode over to the base of Chuckwalla peak from Jawbone canyon to check it out. Had some very steep rocky climbs and very steep descents as well. Planning on a chuckwalla summit and cross mountain summit single day ride so getting the boys ready for it.
Brotherrrr!!!! just stumbled on your video!!! EPIC!!! thank you!!!
Thanks man
Man that place looks incredible. Those climbs and decents look intimidating to say the least! Fun to watch, great video! 👍✌
Another great JB video. Thanks for sharing 👍. I’m impressed with those kids. Talk about throwing them into the deep end of the pool. South of JBC is no joke. Very familiar with the first part of your ride, but never did Chuckwalla (making that left at the fork in the trail to hit the single track), but familiar with Barron Ridge / Lone Tree area. That is what my older cousins / Dad and uncle did when I learned how to ride out there when I was their age. You are correct, the GoPro does no justice to just how steep that area is. One must ride that area to appreciate it. You guys would love the Mile Markers area in AZ. Fun single track for days, but it does not have Jawbone / Spangler Hills style hill climbs (Big).
Never did much rideing at Jawbone. Raced all around there in Dove Springs Red Rock Canyon Fremont Valley
Cal city. Great video. Have fun
Know that’s super cool 😎
My buddy and I are the dudes u guys ran into at 1130!
Nice. How’d you guys fare after that?
Been to the top of that peak from the other side so much fun
Sure is. Definitely doesn’t disappoint
My home turf. Woohoo!
Think some 4x4 trucks with lockers can make it though this? Up that initial hill seems like a stretch. Probably stop before the singles.
There are other routes to get up if you are hitting it with some trucks.
what a gifted rider,, and your heart rate was never more than 80
Sweet video. I’m in Jawbone all the time and camp pretty deep off SC176. Are these all unmarked trails in this video?
Yes they are unmarked.
Whens the next laughlin ride?! Would be awesome to get out there with you guys!
My friend lives out there and rides all the time. His channel is all things braap.
I don’t know when I’ll get back there right now
Have you tried windowmaker yet?
Just going down coming off the ridge Very rutted out as a lot of the hills at jawbone are.
Where do you stage? I want to ride this!
I set up in jawbone past the first pipe You’ll cross the dry creek and on the left will be a big horseshoe hill climb. I park at the base of that There’s a flat area there. There are many trails that connect over to the base of chuckwalla. Some harder some easier They can get very extreme so ride safe and have fun
Awesome. Hope to hit this on Saturday! thanks!
I SAW YOU GUYS RUN OVER AN ENDANGERED GAY WOOLY MAMMOTH ANT ! 😂😂😂
I'm going tomorrow for a few days, you are doing the old enduro trail mid video and the guys I ride with do that the other way and call it the Backward enduro. Knarly terrain either way.
Hahaha. It’s a good one. Almost the upside down enduro at certain points
