Hi! I had an AP interview on Friday. I won't hear back till Tuesday, but I just wanted to say that the previous videos you had made about your interview experiences really helped me a lot to prepare! I took on your tips, and every question that came up, I had prepared for before hand. I also made sure to reflect, reflect, and reflect again!
I know it's a competitive field, and this was my first interview, but honestly no matter the result - whether I get it or not - this was the best interview I had ever had, and I'm proud of myself for that. I just wanted to thank you, as you really helped me a lot!

How long before you graduated did you start applying for AP jobs? I’m starting a clinical psychology masters in September and friends on other course are starting to apply in December/January. When would you recommend is best to start? I don’t want to start too early/late!!
Thank you for your informative videos!! :)

I started applying pretty much straight away after graduation. I would say focus on your masters and then once you've graduated start applying!

Heyah, do you have any tips for an interview for Eating disorders Psychologist? Or please can you recommend anything that I could read/watch to get prepared? I would be very grateful! 💚

Hey! I don't have anything specific because in all of my interviews the focus was more on my experiences rather than the service itself. I would try to think about what challenges you might face as an AP in that specific service. Other than that, focus on reflecting on your past experience and WHY it makes you a good fit for the role. Hope that helps!

@@SharonB thank you! It was quite different interview. Questions were mixed but they mostly were referring to my experience which I described in first question (tell something about you). They asked about safeguarding,if I have ever written a referral, do I have an experience with patients who attended self harming, suicidal thoughts. & where do I see myself in five years 😄
