I’ve had really intense hormonal acne for years, but something that has really significantly helped lower. My cortisol levels was meditation and mindfulness breathing exercises . It helped me with my stress and anxiety levels, and I do believe it played a huge part in my hormonal acne. I used to get awful cyst around my chin and now I don’t so much anymore. Not only do I get less acne, but I feel so much more relaxed and less stress in my life. just simply breathing and regulating your nervous system will play a huge part in your hormonal levels and overall wellness.
I also used to suffer from hormonal acne. I'm a male, and I found that whenever I lost weight, hormonal acne would appear, even if the weight loss was very slow, like 2kg per month. I ate very healthily, with no dairy or high-carb foods, mostly small amounts of meat and lots of vegetables. By chance, I discovered that drinking a glass of soy milk every day helped alleviate my hormonal acne.
STOP SAME lit every time i like workout for more than 4 days straight ill start getting like jawline acne- and idk what im doing wrong im even taking liver purifying supplements to make sure my liver like gets rid off any excess androgen hormones from exercising😭😭😭but its not working
I believe that working out alters your body's hormone levels. It varies greatly from person to person and depends on individual body compositions. However, allow your body some time to adapt and find a new balance. I'm feeling much better now, and I no longer have jawline acne.
I used to get severe acne from working out. I used to get treatments without stopping my exercise but nothing worked out. Ultimately the doctor advised me to take a break from workouts which caused hormonal fluctuation in my body. In the end my face gradually got back to normal but it left me with deep scars.

Oh my God, that was my case I left the pill 2 months ago and my face got full of acne (after 4 years on the pill). Now, I will start on spironolactone. Honestly, it is a consuming process but seeing my face like this is worse.
I just stopped Yaz a month ago and got a lot of whiteheads on my jawline. Went to a dermat who told me I definitely have lean pcos and 90% people don't get diagnosed cos their results come fine which happens when it's not too severe, but it's there. She gave me a clindamycin gel for morning and clindamycin + adapalene for spot treatment every alternate day. The only solutions for managing pcos are metformin, Spiro and Spearmint and inositol supplements with daily exercise and a good, clean diet. Will be seeing my gynac tomorrow and discussing these with her but there's no way I'm going back to yaz cos with clean skin I also got severe anxiety, random panic attacks and lethargy. So much lethargy. Since I'm off of it I just feel so energised and happy altogether. Exercising for only 2 weeks now and already my body feels and looks way better.
For women dealing with hormanal acne i would recommend you go back to ur GP and ask ur doctor for somthing like spironolactone. Spironalactone is an Anti androgen wich hrlps to deminish the oil production caused by ur overwoking androgens it also may work to reduce facial hair. But for men men wont be prescribed any Anti Androgens medicines because a common side effect is male breast swelling and enlargement
I’m struggling but I don’t know why am I suffering from harm oak acne as I don’t have any pcos and thyroid or cartisol issue?? I’ve started using tretinoin and benzoyl peroxide. Would these products help me to get rid of acne and closed comedones?
What hormone can we take to balance the hormones and cause less oil ? My skin POURS with oil but I don’t have any symptoms of pcos (the oil started after I had my baby)
I’ve been using adapalene on the chin area for 6 months but found that my skin can’t tolerate it and breakouts become worse - even when buffering and using once every 3 nights. Are there some patients that can’t tolerate on the chin area? After taking a 2 week break the area significantly improved.
Omaigod I have been using tretinoin 0.025% at first it worded amazing then I started having nonstop painful acnes mostly on my cheeks. And they become worse when I'm on tretinoin 😢😢
The concurrent use of salicylic acid and adapalene is not advisable due to their acidic nature. Salicylic acid is a BHA (Beta hydroxy acid), while adapalene is a retinoid. To safely incorporate both into your skincare regimen, alternate their usage on different nights. For instance, use salicylic acid on the nights you do not use adapalene.
Can benzyol peroxide 2.5 fix it..? For last 1.5 month I used benzyol.. I'm still in purging phase. I'm fully confused & tired what actually helps me to get rid of these 😢

@@ashlesha21 I use regular 3% hydrogen peroxide. Put it on a cotton pad and apply it to your whole face. You can even buy 6% online for the very bad cysts. Sometimes it works overnight. Good luck!

Hormonal acne is caused by hormone imbalances. In men typically excessive conversion of testosterone to DHT.

With my experience for 4 years. Please use benzoyl peroxide 5 percent. Leave it over night. I guarantee acne would stop
Yes sometimes 10% is too harsh.

Not permanently, finasteride works only if you take it, if you stop, you get back
