BTW you might want to add a primer coat in between your mud and texture coat, sand and then paint that gives you a filler coat for any minute flaws in the plastic filler. Radio is the cheap way and never gives the look you really want to show off. Few cars can make it look good having the dash room to put the radio behind it.

I used plasti dip on my dash. 5 coats and not a nick in it after 5 months. I don't feel like I'm more careful because I know it's plasti dip either as I always forget.

I love it as a head unit, but lack of backup cam and OEM wheel controls has kept me from doing it.

No because it's a float mount kit. You would need a wireless charging or to use the side slider kit
