It’s the only thing keeping him from becoming one of the monsters he fights. It’s the balance to his insanity. If he loses it, he’ll go over the edge and be for ever lost to his brokenness.

So not killing and eventually forming the Bat-Family fits that idea. Plus nobody is asking for Batman to be a boy scout, but personally I’m just tired of seeing the same Batman story over and over again and I imagine many feel the same way. There’s more to Batman than being a brooding loner who yells dramatically that he is vengeance and constantly fighting the Joker.
This Batman and Zack Snyder's Batman in BvS got the same energy. Theres a lot of similar scenes in this animated movie and BvS. Also, the same Batman tank and gang from this movie was in ZSJL at the end

The only thing that did that line slightly better was the scene that referenced Dark Knight Returns in The Batman/Superman Adventures. Batman, voiced by Michael Ironside says "It's an operating table" (You see Batman grab the leader's leg as lighting strikes and you hear a loud crack followed by the Mutant Leader screaming) "And I'm the surgeon."
If you didnt know Krysta or if you want to acknowledge on the second part. This was the main inspiration for the Batman brought to screen by Zack Snyder, portrayed by Ben Affleck and you can see alot of the same imagery presented especially the themes. Even to the simple point of saying “Batman is buff, he can be my sugar daddy” lol but then look at Ben Affleck when he played the character😭

Frank eventually lost his mind and kept writing and drawing comics. I liked Sin City by Miller.
"Rubber bullets. Honest." A line that probably hasn't aged well, but is the in-comic justification for Batman driving a damn tank through a gang of fucking teenagers, automatic weapons notwithstanding.

When I watched this movie for the first time I was not expecting to hear Dark Shadow's Quentin Collins(David Selby) as James Gordon, but it was certainly a welcome surprise.
This ones a Good movie, I only watched it like 2-3 days ago and now seeing a reaction for it, made me laugh and smile at the same time Love the reactions Krysta :) Looking forward to the second part of the dark knight.
In the original comic the two face scene has narration that tells you what's going on: Harvey beleives that he was made to look completely scarred, and that brief shot of his scarred face is batman understanding what's going on by 'seeing what he actually is', or something. Basically, rather than CURE his psychosis, it instead made it WORSE.
So the girls name is Carrie Kelly and she is supposedly one of the Robins, but she only shows up when Bruce is old. Sometimes she’s not even mentioned that much because she shows up so far off in the future. I wouldn’t say she’s a favorite but she’s an interesting character.
He looked at the costume in the beginning because it was Jason's, and Grayson's before him. Jason died and Bruce retired out of depression and shame. 10 years later the storm of Gothams darkness returns in the form of a Batman who doesn't give a shit anymore, violent, angry, and wondering if he can do this anymore.

So the girls name is Carrie Kelly and she is supposedly one of the Robins, but she only shows up when Bruce is old. Sometimes she’s not even mentioned that much because she shows up so far off in the future. I wouldn’t say she’s a favorite but she’s an interesting character.
This is the Bruce that Ben Afflecks Batman is based off of. They actually borrowed a number of scenes from this movie and re-enacted them in BvS.
