I'm currently studying Pharmacology as a first year student, and OneNote is a complete life changer. Starting my first day by taking notes with a pen and paper was very time demanding. Finding out about OneDrive and how to download the lecture slides set my student-life on easy-mode. I owe all my success to Microsoft!
So do you not structure your notes by each class? I know you said you structure them by topic or subject, but are classes organized together? I'm trying to determine what each notebook, section group, section, and page should correspond to. Thanks so much!
Hi Ashley, this recent video shows how i organise my notes: th-cam.com/video/7zsPvikQP7I/w-d-xo.html Specific instructions on how to create sections - i screen recorded it on my desktop app here: th-cam.com/video/HH-RN-ixSQY/w-d-xo.html. New here. I'm Disabled veteran. I want to be able to use Onenote on my iPad, and windows laptop. I believe iOS saves documents in different format than windows obviously. So, If I am taking some notes on ipad, but I need to switch to the windows app to copy and paste , can I do this? Do I need to save each time I cross platform? I'm looking forward to going through your video.
Hello there! Welcome to my channel 😁 I hope you enjoyed the video. I see, if you take notes on your iPad- just write it straight in the OneNote app on your iPad. That will directly sync to your windows platform.
I have a quick question if someone could help me. I did a separate notebook for each class, but now that I am starting my next term I wanna start new notebooks only for my new term. Is there a way that I can hide my other notebooks, or split my notebooks into a year 1 or year 2 section? Hope that makes sense! Thanks
Hmm, you can’t hide notebooks. You could start a brand new account and year 1 can be a notebook, 2 another notebook. Each class can be sections instead of notebooks. 🤔
@@paolaserrano3934 Hey! I found a short straightforward video here that explains how to do subsection and sections. Here is the video, start from 1:08! th-cam.com/video/jq7rYvuzSTc/w-d-xo.html
Hahah thank you!! I’m so glad you enjoyed it. All the best for nursing school 😜 I actually made this video for my sister who has just started nursing this year 😝
Should i make a separate section just to summarize my annotated lecture slides? I just started PTA school and im trying to find ways to be able to review better.
Hey you! I definitely do that personally. Making a separate section for that makes everything neat and organized - so it's easier for you to review better as you said :) It may take longer but it's worth it later on!
@@eunjint Would you reccomend making a summary for each lecture or like a module? Im not sure which wone would be more beneficicial to do. I guess whats your opinion on that?

That was a wonderful video presentation. Thank you so much. 😊
Thank you Anthony for your kind comments!
In short it’s not as neat and easy as productivity influencers make it out to be. It takes time and dedication. Nothing comes out easy really.
i totally agree.. Nothing's easy if you want results!

How do we import lecture slides into OneNote??
When you have the lecture slides open, click on "print" and then choose OneNote as the printer and click "print"
Can you do a tutorial of how you organize and create your one note sections? .. it can be a quick reel or something
