Hi! I can't install TWRP on my redmi Note 7 pro. I followed the steps as you say but when I reboot the phone it always shows up fastboot instead of TWRP.
You can exit fastboot by pressing power button + volume up button for a few seconds...after that you will be able to reboot back. If this doesn't work, I suggest you to install back the default firmware from XiaoMi.

Most probably because we format data in twrp recovery ur phone needs a rom now.....u can Flash custom rom or the stock one...but you need to Flash one

Do u mean that when you reboot your phone it only shows fastboot screen?
Mine cannot install TWRP so, I still continue to use with default firmware.
You can exit fastboot by pressing power button + volume up button for a few seconds...after that you will be able to reboot back. If this doesn't work, I suggest you to install back the default firmware from XiaoMi.
