  • In this video I will walk you through how to make two loaves of bread at once - a question I get asked a lot.
I use my Classic Sourdough Bread recipe and just double it! It’s that simple.

    Baking instructions:
Heat oven to 485F with two Dutch ovens inside for 30 minutes.
Score each loaf and place inside Dutch ovens. Bake with lid on for 20 minutes.
Lower the temperature to 450F, remove Dutch oven lid and bake an additional 20 minutes. Allow bread to cool prior to slicing.

That's a lot of extra starter. What are you doing with it?

@@livingwellwithmandy Are you refeeding it so it doesn't become too acidic? What's your feeding schedule/ratio?

      @ I feed it when I’m baking. Usually 2-3 times a week

Gee I would have liked to see the bread after it’s baked.

Just a suggestion, don't skip the squishing step, if you don't like dough on your hands, use gloves like I do. I'm always afraid I'm going to get a lot of dough down my kitchen sink and clog up my kitchen sink so I use gloves.
