    They do a greater job bringing diplomacy and reducing hatred towards Americans in general than the corrupt goons in politics.. RESPECT! Not just serving the country but serving Afghanistan as well; their politicians only care about themselves - just like ours. These FETs are bringing the people together. Despite the potential risks involved, good to see them having fun too.

    much respect to those females who served in the Corps :)

    They dont actually just talk to local women, if they actually did just do that, well then that would be so goddamn stupid. They connect with the locals to gain their trust and to know that they aren't there to hurt them in any way. I dont want to sound sexist and im not at all, but i have actually heard women complaining about not being able to join the infantry. But we should be respectful that they have the guts to join the military, no matter what their job is within it.

    I think it is really stupid that people are getting so worked up about this video. Were they hurting the girls? Were they being rude? Were they cussing them out? NO! NO! NO! They were putting lipgloss on them and brushing there hair. WTF is the problem?

    Age is a number.
    Gender is a form.
    Race is a characteristic.
    IT'S THE MIND THAT MATTERS.

    @VampiresBiteHard666 As someone who is actually in the Marine Corps I'll tell you that women are in infantry but they do not go into direct contact with the enemy; they do do support roles like comm, armorer, supply etc. It's not about gender its about the rigors of war. As much as you want to deny it human males are stronger then human females. Yes, some women can do it but it's a very small number. Saying women can do whatever they want is completely ignorant.

  • @sass225

    @Un1versalPa1n there was a female capt an mp that commanded her own convoy escort details. No women can't be in infantry,armor,artilery. but there are women in combat just the same jessicca lynch was a truck driver. travel between post convoys get hit by IEDS. women get killed same as men. there are no front lines in unconventional warfare a controled area is however far you can see and were your standing

  • @rickywashburn

    @Webzlinger but there was attacks... and still are attempted... we did make the mistake of disbanding their military, we should have kept them together and had them help stabalize their country that was the biggest issue.. cause all the former soldiers had to make money for their families someway.. terrorist could afford to give them 200 to dig a hole...
    and you saying "US military presence just prevents arab on arab violence and anarchy breaking out" isnt that a good thing?

  • @silentoutfit
    @silentoutfit 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    @maddmarine03 The Marine Corps has a different role in the current conflict of Afghanistan. As you name suggest you're a Marine so, you should know that Marines and Army have different AO's. Where we are the female populace is high and it's not favorable for a male to go patrollin' all up in there asking f*cking questions. So what we did is "adapt and overcame" devil. You should know that. However, you're so stuck in yesteryears mentality that you'll never be able to see that.

  • @stephen01619
    @stephen01619 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @hoopgirl245 You're right, they do see combat, from AFAR. They are not sent into combat nor participate or get sent out to it. Men can detain women, pat women down and question if needed. I sure would like to know where you get your facts from, they sure are spewed. If women want respect in the military then they should do the same as men. That consist of training and combat. Bootcamp for women recruits are so watered down and you can ask any recruiter that and you'll get the same answer.

  • @salerno111
    @salerno111 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @NTmayne You are correct with the date of 1998, but at that time the AQ target was Mubaraq, not USA and the embassy bombung was the reply to the arrest of 4 AQ members in Albany planning to overcome the Egypt regime. USA is payingt the support for Israel (the jewish were persecuted by UK and France even before the holocaust), but USA policy is dictated by 2-3 big family trusts and 2 of them are Jeiwsh.
    USA is paying also his addiction to foreign oil and to Military complex and war industry.

  • @NTmayne
    @NTmayne 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @salerno111 Because these "insurgents" are against an already corrupt government, we encouraged it in Iraq and Afghanistan to serve our needs, we abondened the first, and let the latter get out of hand.
    Living in their homes? With several already identified High value targets? Not so smart. You wouldn't let a killer sleep in your house would you? You wouldn't want your children to be threatened by the possibilty of the police accidently killing them right?

  • @salerno111
    @salerno111 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @NTmayne Innocent civilians are not "operating", they are simply living in their homes with their children.
    Insurgency in Yemen and Pakistan ( as we are talking about small cell activities) are a problem of Yemen and Pakistan, not of USA. Additionally if insurgency is wrong, why USA supported it in Libya and Kosovo ?
    Even in Libya and kosovo USA operations were criminal and resulting in the deaths of many civilians.

  • @NTmayne
    @NTmayne 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @salerno111 Innocent Civillians operating in the vicinity of Insurgents? One way or another they are connected, and should be labeled under the list of "collatoral damage". Though such sterile words, the people they where with, or the "civillians" themselves must have attracted the attention of such weapons and or personal, and then caused further attention to be drawn to them because up the line, the personal would have to request permission to engage.

  • @NTmayne
    @NTmayne 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @salerno111 Involved or not, it's the duty of the world super powers to protect themselves, their assets, and other nations not capable of effectivley taking care of that problem. It's not an Islamic specific problem, terrorism exists in all states and religions, I think that it shouldn't be tolerated, this has it's roots when Israel's place as a soverign nation was backed by Western Powers.

  • @sass225
    @sass225 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    @VampiresBiteHard666 yes women are issued rifles and sometimes pistols to defend themselves who said otherwise? a female airman held the airforce record for longerest rifle shot in 2008 she graduated from counter sniper class in ark got man though the arse while he was planting ied and he went boom

  • @NTmayne
    @NTmayne 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @salerno111 Does it matter what religion the family trusts belong too? What it be that better if they were Muslim? Christian? Bhuddist? People all the same to me, sense less violence dicatated by any cause short of self-defense or security of one's nation, allys, and assets is wrong to me.

  • @NTmayne
    @NTmayne 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @salerno111 Small scale drone attacks? Are you kidding me? Korea and Vietnam I can see you point, Iraq and Afghainstan, I can see your point. But these are large scale attacks, not small cell activites involving hundreds of special forces instead of hundreds of thousands of troops.

  • @salerno111
    @salerno111 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @NTmayne You are wrong again. Spain was attacked like UK AFTER their involvment in wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. On the other side Russia is facing the same problem of Serbia, having a Muslim minority fighting for independence in Checenya like in Bosnia and Kosovo.

  • @NTmayne
    @NTmayne 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @TheCentralServices I thought the Jewish people were originally entitled to Israel somewhere down our historic line, but land claim is a silly thing, by thoughts are not to who originally owns it, but why people can't tolerate one another in general.

  • @salerno111
    @salerno111 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @NTmayne I agree that Yemen and Pakistan operations are the product of small cell activities, but that does not make the operations more acceptable. Their nature is still evil, as many innocents civilians were killed in their civilian homes.

  • @NTmayne
    @NTmayne 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @salerno111 So does that explain similiar terroism in Spain? In Russia? Around the world? We are involved as a preventitve measure, had we been MORE involved, the people that plotted 9/11 and simliar attacks would never have hit the age of 20.

  • @NTmayne
    @NTmayne 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @salerno111 To prevent the world from falling apart at that, we Americans have seen the very limited spectrum of what the world truly is when we are not heavily involved in it. 9/11 was an eye opener to this as where many other event's.

  • @MindOfTheThief

    @VampiresBiteHard666 I wouldn't go all the way as to say take mens jobs; however they should be allowed to do the jobs they aren't allowed. I say that only to see what the consequences-sorry-result of that would be.

  • @salerno111
    @salerno111 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @NTmayne yes, wherever are they are present, the intruders must be killed. The target is alwaysa foreign intruder or a collaborator, and the responsibility of collateral damage is always upon the intruders.

  • @salerno111
    @salerno111 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @NTmayne Russia and Serbia had the right to not tolerate as they had the right to mantain order inside their borders. Terrosism is fully motivated against US-Nato for their aggressive policy outside their borders.

    @stephen01619 once AGAIN do your research buddy...men cant touch afghan women..its a fact..their men dont allow it and the women wont talk,to you or let you touch them.and women already see combat,even without being in infantry.Women are asigned to infantry units all the time.which they Most likely WILL see some sort of combat...Respect the women who fight for this country.dont be rude.

  • @stephen01619
    @stephen01619 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @hoopgirl245 Girl nevermind! And no it's not from men not allowing women to go infantry, its this little thing called WOMENS RIGHTS that keep women from going infantry.

  • @NTmayne
    @NTmayne 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @salerno111 And defending your country agains't foreign aggressors involves using your vheicle as a bomb in a packed market place? In a crowded street? I don't think so...

  • @salerno111
    @salerno111 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @NTmayne You are wrong. 9/11 happened right because you are heavily involved in it.
    Indeed this is the reason why 9/11 happened in USA and not in Brasil or Switzerland.

  • @salerno111
    @salerno111 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @NTmayne No possible to complain because people are defending THIR country against foreign aggressors.
    The responsibility for the deaths is upon the intruders.

    Both Men and Women have the right to join the military. I respect you for speaking your mind, and it may seem like they are playing dress up. But really they are winning the locals over. Soldiers mostly go through small villages, if all of the locals hated them and would do anything to get rid of them, they would be violent towards the soldiers. And they would be able to even kill soldiers. And any type of sexism is bloody stupid. How can we win a war when we cant even work together?

    These ladies, Marines all, deserve the highest honors of Marine Corps. They may not be 03-11's, or even capable of being 03-11's, but they volunteered for a very important and dangerous duty in a combat zone. When the shit hits the fan, it is the 03-11, and other combat MOS's who carries the day, but the those in support roles, do just that. A Marine bliind to this, may be Marine in name only.
    As a Corpsmen, a volunteer, medically retired, I have earned the right to say, Semper Fi FET.

    @salerno111 Aggressive policy? I'm laughing at that statement, aggresive policy would have led us to end the genocides in Yemen, aggressive policy would have ended the Battle of Mogidishu with tanks and AC-130's. Aggressive Policy would have never let another Gulf War happen.

    @hooramarines In operations like that yes, but in most military combat scenarios...i'm sorry but no. I don't hate women but i would much rather have a man next to me in combat. Now, if it was an amazon type woman, then sure, but then there's the whole toxic shock thing and PMS shit. No thank you.
