You have so many stunning coins here its really hard to pick a favourite but the one that I find most unusual is the the Falklands Crown with the double portrait on the obverse and the of course the Gibraltar Two Quarts is really interesting. I'm sure I have the Jersey 12th of a shilling coin that you showed first in my collection. This has been a really great series with so much new information that I've learnt such alot I didn't know about some of my Territory coins. There were also some that I would really like to get hold of myself. Can't wait to see what you do next Lafta. ☺️
Hah! Thanks! I'm still working and a lot of the videos take an hour or two of prep work so I'm not getting videos out as fast as I would like. Thanks for the support though!
Brilliant video Lafta, the Gibraltar 2 quarts coin is intriguing the hands that its past through. Love the Johnathan tortoise story, what a legend. Fantastic mate 👍👍👍
That Gibraltar 2 quarts....fab coin. Snax obviously not interested in Territory coins. 😂😂. Great series....always an interesting watch with your videos
@@LAFTA coincidence on those but I did go get the atlantic herring 20p as a direct result of that video! Have bought about a dozen little job lots of territories in the last week. All sorts of goodies 😀
Great video LAFTA. Thoroughly enjoyed it 😀. Just too many stunning designs to choose from 😍. Loved the Guernsey, Gibraltar and St Helena Silver Jubilee coins. The Doubles and Gibraltar 2 quarts are pretty special though 👌👌.
This is the last of the run through of my collection unfortunately mate, hoping to start picking up some more territories though which I will put in their own video and add to the playlist. Cheers Ian
They stopped making them in 1959 for circulation but 1966 proofs do exist. I don't think they were demonitised until decimilisation, not sure on that though tbh. Thanks Bungle!
Hello, I've enjoyed your uploads mate, I have an idea for you, to send a box around the country and the TH-camrs add coin(s) to it and when it gets back too you that could be a give away, all the TH-camrs film it and post, it could be called the Lafta box
You wouldn't believe how many different isle of man crowns there are as the pobjoy mint was very prolific in minting them when they had the franchise up to about 2016. Over 700 different crowns between 1970- 2016. I have collected just about all of them and am missing only about 5. Should maybe do a video.
Is it possible if we all the TH-camrs and fans can meet in London and going around shops looking for Change meeting each other and giving gifts to TH-camrs it would be great video to film
Never seen a coin with 2 portraits on the obverse before very interesting. Love the Gibraltar coin with the castle looks good in the condition it's in , looks natural. The quarts that is.
You have some lovely territorie coins. i like them all.👍👍
Cheers Snap. Hopeing to add some more to the collection soon!
Loved this series
Thanks!

Great series 👍🏻 I have previous wondered what the Doubles are. When did they stop using Doubles on Guernsey? 🇬🇬

A lot of the Americans do stuff like this don't they, it's a possibility for the future mate. Easier to just do it at the mint though probably haha
@@LAFTA it would be a chance for the smaller channels, to grow as well, but the mint sound good mate, take care
