The 1922 penny had a very low mintage, check that out and get it graded you may have a very valuable Penny there. Good luck.

But anyways I was sitting at my house and I looked in my copper pot where I throw my chains and I was three 1944 wheat pennies two of them was no mint mark one of them is Denver mint mark I took a picture on CoinSnap and it said 10,000 to 330,000 for each point I just don’t know who to trust or how to go about it I just seen you was doing it for 16 years Help me

I've been doing enjoying checking old money for a while now,but I read something a few days ago, someone said that he went to have their old money checked and was told that it wasn't worth anything, that really discouraged me. 😥😓

There are a few worth several dollars but no penny has ever sold for anywhere near $1M. A common wheat cent like he shows are worth appr 3-5 cents.

What a load of crap. I have all of those in my collection and all are in excellent condition.
I've had then appraised and with the SOLITARY exception of my 1909 VDB with "S" mint Mark, and my 1943 steel pennies, not a single one of these coins that they have is worth more than $20
Don't let that ruin your day, put them up. These collectors are kinda strange they tell you that they aren't worth nothing and the following year there priceless.
Are any wheat pennies worth anything, I've asked questions and never given an answer. I see something I like and I keep not really worried about the money as to what to look for.
@clarencedaledelaney4521 get the red book. They come out every year. They list all coins. But they don't list errors by years which is where the money is. 1909S vdb is probably the most valuable. 1955 double die, 1943 copper/1944 steel are very valuable (steel were only produced in 43) there are some close AM and wide AM varieties you can look up. Anything with a strike through will add value.

I recently got a 1954 D wheat penny from a self checkout. I was supposed to get a dime for my change and the wheat penny came out instead. It is lighter than a regular penny so I wondered if that’s why the machine mistook it for a dime. I’ll have to look into it more.

My 1935 wheat penny, is a triple strike. I believe it has a double strike on one direction and possibly a double strike in the opposite vertical direction. Or it was struck on a foreign coin.
