this should be a simply soft ware update to the 2018, 2019, 2020 screens. Do you know if possible?

Nope. For one the screen ration and resolutions in the UI are completely different when compared to the outgoing 8.4 inch screen. As well, if a forced software update was possible, it would be immensely slow to the point of unusability. The processors in the new UConnect 5 systems are over 5 times faster than the previous‘s hardware.

so Ron (or anyone). 2 questions, 1) is there a native Spotify App like other makes, 2) does Maserati have a "hold" function that allows you to take your foot off the brakes at stoplights (while leaving the brake lights on). Thx!

The current system is basic and lags like 2005. Really embarrassing.
This looks good and hopefully the 2022 models have something similar.

@@SnehasisGhosh01 unpopular opinion: Alfa's 2019 system is better than 2020 system. Only the new one lags. Touch screens in cars suck. The old one was well optimized for control with the dial. Only downside is AA/car play is bad without touch.

How do you create multiple driver profiles via the MIA? According to the manual, I should have an "Add Profile" button on the Profiles screen. However that is nowhere to be seen. All I am able to modify is "Driver 1" (a single profile), when I should be able to create up to five. Wondering if this might be a bug or if anyone has any suggestions.

I have the same problem...only can connect one profile when it says you can connect up to five...my dealership can't seem to help us with this problem! Very aggravating!
