Here are a few tricks to help you carry your cash safely while traveling in the Philippines. DoMoreLife is a fun channel dedicated to travel, photography, and education.
Good information on distraction. Make sure to toss it to them at their feet to one side. That way they look and bend down, giving you a chance to move out of the danger zone.
Jeremy, your advice is spot on man. I own fine watches but I do NOT even wear a Casio when out and about in the Philippines. The fact that you are a foreigner, may give a robber the idea your el-cheapo watch has great value. My plan is to draw no attention to myself. (Hard to do as I am large, very light and blonde.) I have nothing to prove to anyone. My bride hates my often slobby appearance but I tell her the shorts with the small rip are comfortable! One other thing a traveller may want to get is a Cordura nylon neck pouch that can hold money, passport, IDs etc. Worn inside your shirt, it is vewry inconspicious.
Have been to many countries.... I only take small amount of money for each day, I leave cards, passport and other forms of identity in hotel safe. Never tell anyone the hotel you are staying at, Do not take a stranger to your hotel room.
Why even carry your SS card or driver license medical card with you no need for it. I just carried cash in 2 pockets big cash in one and a few 20's and coins in the other.
Basically just be organized and smart. Diversify and don't keep everything in one or two places, even more places the more the better. Daily manage your wallet/valuables. If you don't need something when you got out, take it out of the wallet or whatever. But if you have to carry do it how this guy did, in a place that is less noticeable even when patted down and have a fake wallet. Have even more fake wallets at your apartment to replace the fake wallet.
You don't have a money belt? I'm here in the USA and I haven't carried a wallet in over 20 years! Just my cash and drivers license folded in my front pocket
That's a good idea I'm going back watching some of your old videos...

I like the fake for fake! Lol
Typically how much cash do you carry around during a day?
Usually no more than the equivalent of US$100. Often, it is much less than that.
Thanks, btw I found that 2nd wallet on Walmart.com
