The Killswitch Case will fit inside the Original Steamdeck carry case if you remove the kickstand. I carry the detached kickstand in the charger case with the charger
Bro at 3:56 it literally looks like your dog is just painted on the wall behind you…😂I had to do a double take because I thought I was tripping for a sec😂
@@CosmicStench_ gyro is the motion detection that the Deck utilizes. Moving the Deck to aim offers more precise movement than using either the thumb stick or track pads.
@@trazyntheinfinite9895 You can raise the sensitivity so that the screen isn't moving around too much. You can also set it using Steam Input so that you only use the gyro for fine aiming when holding the left trigger to look down the sights. On my Switch I prefer to remove the joycons when gyro aiming so that the screen isn't moving, but it's still more than doable to use gyro aiming on the Deck. The improvement in aiming precision over just using the sticks makes it almost unfair to play against regular controller players.
I took his advice and when with the Gorixer, for the price it's absolutely great fitting in the case and good kickstand with multiple angles is very nice.
Couple things the dbrand case fits in the included case when you take of the stand OR you can buy their travel kit which has a front cover so that you don’t need the included case at all. Other thing is the jsaux mod case is a budget version of the killswitch that’s probably better than everything here
I agree with the Benzacap option. It's a really great case overall. It's nice and grippy, has a great simple stand and the price is great for the value you get.
The reviewer is a little aggressive about the Killswitch case not fitting in the Carrying case. I don't use my carrying case much because I just throw on the DBrand front cover on my Deck and throw it in my travel bag, but if you take the kickstand off and put it in the carrying case cubby the Killswitch absolutely fits the official case.
I think that's an add-on though. But I agree - if it's intended to replace the original case (which it is) then fitting into the original case really isn't an important factor.
I've had the Benzacap case on my deck since it arrived last August and it's great. The kickstand is the perfect angle for gaming to give your hands and arms a rest. The grips are very comfortable and make the ergonomics so much better than without a case. And it's been durable and fits in my carrying case. I'm glad I bought it over the more expensive options (like dBrand).
Does the Steam deck with Spigen rugged armor case fit into the original Steam deck docker? I saw that the Spigen's steam deck "thin case" variant has a cut in the bottom probably to fit in the docker.
My steamdeck is arriving in 2 days, ive been looking at skull & co grip case. Would you recommend it? I dont want something that makes it too heavy or bulk
@@trill625 I would, feels great to hold and doesn't add much bulk or weight, the problem is pretty much all cases make the official carry case useless, none of them fit in it.
I don't see why you would want to use the original case AND one of these. To me, it's either/or. Anything that bulks up the grips or actually adds much protection is simply not going to fit in the case that Valve designed to hold the bare product. And I don't think that can be considered a CON of the product. The fact that Killswitch doesn't fit isn't an issue, if you want to add weight to the console by having this style of case in the first place, then I'm not sure why you wouldn't go all the way and use something beefy that has a front cover you can pop on. If you want it to fit in the original case, maybe just use a skin.
In all reality there’s only 2 cases worth anything DBRAND OR JSAUX dbrand is expensive but you can get a sturdier case with a more protective( more of a pain to take off) front cover, along with a special anti glare screen protection JSAUX is cheaper depending on what bundle as there more of here’s a bunch of attachments compared to dbrand 2 attachments. JSAUX for ALL there stuff is 150$ but it comes with Mod case Adjustable strap for other accessories Cooling fan that works 11 in dock that can be used as your home dock as it has like 3 usb 1 hdmi and more SSD card thing ( you can add a bunch of storage) Portable charger ment for the Steam Deck It’s up to you dbrand is fancy and feels more protective but jsaux is such a great deal plus the kick stand can stay on all the time
FFS stop whining over it not fitting in the steam case and just buy another case, you know since your buying a cover thats not even needed then there is no issues with buying a case thats not needed.
I bought the Gorixer case ( Patent no 202230307828.7 if you are looking for it). It is very comfortable. Just take the case off when you want to dock your Steam Deck. update:The Spigen case is less comfortable but fits perfectly into a third party dock.

Pro tip: using the gyro makes aiming in FPS wayyyy easier
How so?
Is that the things below the analogs?

Your dog is so cute!
the killswitch does fit in the steam deck case if you take off the stand. then you put
it in the back pocket of the case. that’s what i do.
the stand also hold 4 microSD cards for those who don’t want extra cases for those.
You forgot to mention dbrand’s cover so you don’t need to put it in the Steam Deck case
I’m more disappointed he didn’t mention that and his defense was not being able to use the original case
6:46 BRO I didn't even know that the bottom part could be used for chargers and headphones 10/10 video

But that means you need to ALWAYS play with 180g additional weight... Not sure about your use case but to me that is a massive drawback
The steam case comes with it and it's good quality
You have to pay extra for that.
Which ones fits with the steam docking station?
Dbrand sells (or I think includes free with purchase) An adaptor for their case and the dock
Wish you would have done a list of screen protectors for the steam deck
Comparing cases u should do the 3 premium ones, kill switch, satisfye, jsaux mod case.
This vid is underated. I honestly really care about the deck fitting in its origional case.
does the dbrand case fit the official travel case from valve?
I was the 1000th like on this video!! Never had that happen before so I guess that means you earned my subscribe as well 😂. Great video.
Try out the Jsaux mod case if you don’t use the top sell it fits in the steam deck case and comes with stand and strap for battery pack
do the analogs sit comfortable in there? like is a tight squeeze to close it?
Gorixir case no longer available on amazon?

I've read gorixer kickstand has a magnet that interferes with bluetooth. is that true?
good thing my JSAUX case fits well on case and has 4 adjustable kickstand angles 😍 ❤❤❤ best purchase
i mean, its a lot of personal opinion, but im glad u reviewed the spigen as im very much interested in having a strap when im out and about
What’s a good screen protector for steam deck tempered glass or film?
Love that message, buy what you can afford!
I have been thinking of using markers to draw on my steam deck's case but I am not sure if I should because it may damage it.
You forgot the SIM card holder on the DBrand..
The dog just sit there and stare at you all day?
That's literally what dogs do my guy.
Monty is so cute. He looks like he could be a brother of my dog. ❤
does the top pick sit well on the jsauz docking stations?
I don't know how they did it but Steam got Arkham Knight verified to run on Steam Deck 😱 Great video.
Is monte part dachshund by chance??
The best one so far is not in this video. It’a the JSAUX ModCase.
I bought a Skull & Co. GripCase and i'm happy with it so far.

anyone of theme works with the official steam deck dock station?
Bro you haven't try playing fps with trackpad?
It's almost as accurate as mouse go to setting and change it to fit your preference bro🤛🏼
Great review. Thanks!

Is that dog a Schanuzer? Cute.
I go caseless and use the DeckMate stand
i would call these shells or sleeves.. the word case makes me think of what you put it in to carry or store it.
Best rewiew ever made
Day 238 waiting for Val to come back and put some pizazz into the channel again.
Love this reviews!
Thanks for that killswitch comparison on the offical case ,i wont be getting that one anymore JSAUX all the way
Sorry that this is a bit late, but I'm defense of the steam deck he didn't get the travel cover for it, with makes the deck extremely Portable.
Lo mejor de tus videos es tu gran amigo 🐕
Awesome review as always. Not sure with the weird editing though. Too much unncessary stuff with the stock illustrations and flying thumbs ups

Guess it's not fitting in the original cases such a ridiculous thing to look for, aren't you looking for a replacement?
I don't see the point in a case. It sits in the.... "case" that it came in when I don't use it.
Aye you got one too
Nice
Dbrand Killswitch case with Travel cover. Wins
i’m new ❤
I thought this was a top 5??
Deck boizzzz
Should of named the video “top 5 WORST steam deck protective cases”…
"have", not "of".
What da dog doin
dbrand case is ridiculously overpriced, but I can't hate on them, they do a great job of marketing and do make nice products.
Sorry what cases ? i was just looking at that adorable dog 🐶
FFS stop whining over it not fitting in the steam case and just buy another case, you know since your buying a cover thats not even needed then there is no issues with buying a case thats not needed.
I’m subscribing so I can see more of your dog…video was helpful too 🫣
