    Awesome run! Thanks for the tips on replacing the droop screws! That's going to definitely come in handy making it easier to adjust. Those other mods you did are pretty clever too, especially how clean it looked when the body as raised for those huge batteries. BIG UPS!!!!!!

    Hey Richard 👋 , loved the video man . I'm in middle of getting ready to try & hit the 100mph as well . Your video is a awesome inspiration 👏 man . Im currently running the standard set up & electrics . I've got 50k in front & back diffs , silicone pkugs in the center diff . I've tried a 46t spur & a 27t pinion . So far I've hit 120km with very little traction & it wanting to flip at full throttle. Thats with getting to half throttle quick then easing to full throttle. I may have gone a little to quick to full throttle im not sure. Since then I've bought some deep dish Hoons to help with traction & stop the ballooning. With your experience, what do you think this set up is capable of doing ? I just wanted to know if I'm heading in the right direction. Keep up with your very informed videos & speed runs there a great inspiration. Thanks & hope to hear from you soon 😊

      Some hit 160 with hoons but wreckon Grps are better or racing banana skinz. Best of luck

    What's your take on cappack farad size. You say your running 1000 farads. I'm currently running 6 2200 farads caps. I'm worried the 2200 farads aren't discharging fast enough to keep up with mosfets cycling speed. I'm currently rite around 9% voltage ripple with my 4s and 6s lipo runs but feel I could do better. I made my own cappack using Panasonic audio grade f series 8s caps.

    • @WigganRC
      @WigganRC  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is the dilemma everyone has. You have to try different setups for your own cars as so many variables come into place. Try different sizes and voltage and do runs with the same setup and log data 😃👍🏾

      +DFSW05 187 thanks man, simple fix buddy just change the diff oil to a higher weight or cst say 100k in the front maybe 70k in the center and 30k rear. Maybe keep the pinion gear lower also with punch settings on 3,4 let me know how you go.

    Really enjoy your videos! I'm thinking of getting into speed run cars and was wanting to know what you meant by "Spool"

    • @WigganRC
      @WigganRC  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks buddy. A spool is just the center drive that replaces the centre differential. It means the drive is then locked. A spool has a spur gear and bearings usually and it drives the centre dogbones that gets drive directly from the motor that in turn drives all the 4 wheels. Hope that helps to explain 👍🏿
