Awsome bro i'm kind of a newbie but not really I've been building things that go fast my hole life I love little tips and tricks for my new hobby been following your channel for a while was wondering when you were going to share !! Haha😄✌🏻️
very nice video Typhon is there any way you can lmk what set up your using as far as your esc goes and what to really go with as far as add ons to your ESC/BEC I'd def appreciate it, keep up the good work brother!?!?
eh bud i was just looking at your great work but umm needed to know what spur gear do you use since your sold out.,,, I have everything else but I was looking at traxxas revo spur gear. it looks like you use a 30t pinion mod 1,,,now i i have a 30t pinion on my motor I havent done the measurements but will it fit as both 30t pinion as a pinion and spur put together will it reach to the tooth with my arrma typhon setup.....just tell me please what you use before I buy......
Where can I get that Cap pack you have there? I do have Cap pack on my TYPHON but it has 5 on a straight line but I rather have that one you have cuz they look a bit bigger then the one i have on it. Thanks
What's up Typhon. I have a concern about the spool. I have an Arrma Senton and the spool isn't a problem for me to make and install thanks to your video. My problem is keeping my RC on the ground!!! It goes airborne about 70 MPH at nowhere near full throttle. What do you recommend? Thanks
Michael Lee I believe proline or another shell company sells an aftermarket sc body that has vents at the end to stop that parachuting effect. Or you could take a Dremel to your stock body and cut some slots for air to pass through.
I order M-1 for the REDCAT...It looks like it's just a metal 46T spur (32 pitch) There's just a flange held in place via a pin. This allows you to change the spur size. it should mount right into 1/8 scale buggie center diff.... The metal different mount are actaully only $5...if you shop around. It;s just a couple pieces of thick aluminum ..FFS I;m actually doing for a T maxx electric conversion...chuck that POS plastic gears transmission of locking it out to a single speed...ect and actaully cost more. It's just going to mount on the center aluminum skid plate. This way I can use 87-90 mm..1/8 scale METAL dogbones or cvd. I need to get rid of all those damn plastic drive lines on the Tmaxx. It's actaully 1/8 scale size...With a Brushless it would snap those plastic parts quick...as many people figure out. It needs to be 1/8 size dogbones because the truck is almost 10lb...FFS Anyways....you probably can just slip a smaller spur with a pin slot in place of that flange.....
Haven't made videos in a long time, since my speed runs days back about 3-4 years ago....too many haters on youtube, now we just run our cars at our local airport here in florida. We are in excess of 180+MPH....4 years ago I was posting videos of speed runs but like I said too many haters. Next time I do a vorza center diff for a customer I can definitely post it for you. Not a problem at all!! It's great to see alot of people still in the sport of speed runs. I'm currently running a HEAVILY MODIFIED M4....almost nothing stock. It's hard to get past 140mph with stock diffs because of the gear ratio, but I can say we do have a durango truggy on 3s doing 127mph....durango cars are amazing and have great diff ratios and also have worm gears for pinions in the diffs....check them out.
Making the spool is the easy part. Finding the right length dogbones is the headache. From looking at the pics of the Vorza diff. it uses male out drive cups. When using a shaft the female ones stick out further cause it needs space for the grub screw. Also some manufactures measure end to end ,others pin to pin. I use a Vorza dog bone on my HoBao because it's shorter. (8x110)pin to pin. Your gonna need something shorter than that. These are the cup joints for a 8mm shaft if you go that route. HPI #86083
Thanks, I took your idea and changed it up a bit. Here's a video of how I did mine. Let me know what you think. th-cam.com/video/GpFPcVphiKU/w-d-xo.html

Michael Lee put some lead weights on the front end

Hey bro I’d like one of these spools if possible but will it work for a losi eight 3.0 ?

Dwayne Moore Moore You have a video on how to do it?

Who makes the M4? If & when you make a diff be sure to make a video. Hate to see you leave the speed game on TH-cam, need to come back man.
