That voice Hinata heard was the "Voice of the World/The System". Only strong people/people nearby when important events occur hear that. The Demon Lords heard it when Clayman was ascending at the end of S2. Rimuru has Raphael which uses the voice for his own. The whole end credits scenes were a whole mini arc in the Light Novel. They probably won't mention this but in the LN, Hinata killed her father to try and help her mother but her mother went psycho, so she was about to kill her mother too. However before she could do that, she got isekai-d.

The "Voice of the World" sounds like Raphael because when Rimuru got the skill "Wise One" he basically got a personal offline version of the "Voice of the World" system. Which is a crazy power. Since the "Voice of the World" is in charge of all of the powers people who transfer get, all of the powers that monsters get as they evolve and even powers that others unlock, so it would be like having all of the information of the world at your fingertips and now that it is evolved into Raphael it also has the ability to think with more fluidly.
Hinata's back story is very tied into a major plot point for a major character that kinda shapes a good portion of the world so probably we will see that when we get to that part of the LN in the anime. The manga is not even to that point. I won't go far in to Hinata's backstory, but lets just say her past life in both worlds were not the happiest of times and her going in to a religious cult organization is both understandable and also really sad after what happened in her past life.

8:47 It's actually not Raphael. It's the Language of the World (or Voice of the World, not really sure). Basically whenever someone achieve a new skill, the world will announce it. Raphael is a different thing that merely borrow the voice. I read the novel so I know that.

The anime actually needs to explain the differences properly but I guess they think that it was too much talk back in S1 and S2, and only in S3 they started the "meeting" era, which at this point people are begging for more actions instead.

*Disintegration* is the strongest offensive magic among the Holy magic system. Disintegration is an attack that causes spiritron (spirit particles) decay within the target. Anything within the area of effect gets erased at the speed of light, and not even souls can avoid annihilation.
While it can destroy anything within it's area of effect, Disintegration has a limited range, hence it might have much less effects against targets with considerably large size like True Dragons or Charybdis.
Any attack that causes spiritron decay within the target can, in principle, be considered Disintegration. Some powerful characters in series have created different variants of it.

It evolved from the Unique skill Unlimited Imprisonment mixed with a selection of Rimuru's subordinates' skills conducted by Raphael, the effects of Beelzebub's Food Chain, and some of Rimuru's Common and Extra skills.
Its essence is the loyalty of one's followers or the Believer System, and Spatial Management.

-Unlimited Imprisonment: Entombs the target inside of an infinitely vast imaginary space for eternity and prevents any interaction between the inside and outside. It doesn't weaken over time and cannot be damaged via standard physical damage. Moreover, the skills of the target are sealed along with them, making them impossible to use for the most part, though certain low-energy skills can still be used to some extent if the target is particularly strong.
-Law Manipulation: Enables the manipulation of the laws of the world from either a magical or scientific perspective. How effective it is used depends on the user's abilities. If the user is not in possession of sufficient affinity for the respective laws or not in possession of enough knowledge about the scientific or magical laws and the way they operate, they will not be able to fully bring out the skill's power.
-Universal Barrier: Provides perfect defense using a combination of Multilayer Barrier and the severing of space between the outside and inside of the barrier. It can automatically protect the user without any need for their intent or awareness of the attack.

I think Luminas is probably the current weakest of the awakened Demon Lords (After Clayman, Carrion, and Frey were removed), but she is quite crafty and skilled, and also possesses an ultimate skill so she is respected.
Both Luminas and Veldora weren't serious in hurting each other that's why Luminas only used techniques that will bring pain to veldora but not ones that will hurt him of course veldora is the same he didn't even fight back

What Hinata heard wasn't Rafael's voice, it was the "World Language".
The World Language ｢世界の言葉, sekai no kotoba｣ also known as the Voice of the World ｢世界の声, sekai no koe｣ is a natural phenomenon that announces important events.
Remember when Rimuru conducted the resurrection ritual on season 2. The voice of the world was speaking when it was giving everyone “gifts” after Rimurus demon lord awakening.
If im remembering right, Ultimate guard couldnt block things like disintegration and melt slash untio after raphael had analyzed it, and the best way to do that was to sacrifice gluttony to eat one and see what happens. Now Raphael knows EXACTLY how t works, and ultimate guard works now
Side Note Hinata doesn't have an ultimate skill like Wisdom King Raphael, that's the voice of the world the system that gives people skills under certain conditions, Raphael copied the voice of the world when it was Great Sage to communicate with Rimuru after he wished for companionship
That's not Raphael, that's the Voice of the World. Votw is like the announcer, when a certain event happens like a birth of a new demon lord, she will announce it to everyone, if you got a new skill like an ultimate skill then she will only announce it to you. So basically, Raphael has the VotW's voice as default
The voice announcing Hinata's skills was the "Words of the World." We learned this back in season 2, when Rimuru was evolving and all his followers heard an announcement of his evolution giving them a gift. From what I assume from the info we have, Words of the World is basically an announcement system the people and monsters of this world hear when they acquire new skills or evolve. When Rimuru reincarnated and gained his Sage skill, the skill just assumed the same voice as the Words of the World.
And the Sage skill later evolved to Raphael

Literally 😂 veldora is just a masochist and a funny guy in general, plus with rimuru keeping him in check, that won't happen, but when he locks in luminous and all the others are cooked.
7:20, despair time is actually a combination of 2 skill that Diablo has. One of them is that he can make his target see a strange black world with no life, the second is that he can alter reality to make what they saw in there reality. He basically made a magicule based domain that he then solidified and turned into an alternate reality which he then minized afterwards destroyed.
So it is later revealed that Raphael was doing experiments to see if it could do it. Like copying beelzabub Raphael does a lot of experiments a lot of times without rimuru knowing.
Raphael is both the voice of the world and Rimaru's personal skill that cares to help he more then anyone.
Basically like a bit of the world system came off and became his ultimate skill and has grown stronger overtime, along with it's master/partner.
It listen to him and has been becoming more self automated over time and is still 100% Loyal to him and gets mad if he doesn't listen and also gets sad when it can't give an important answer. That's also why it sounds scared when he is in damage.

@@killerja3 that is wrong, Raphael is just able to affect the VOTW a little and was able to "hack" it to mimic it's voice in order to speak to rimuru, the ACTUAL VOTW is beyond everyone and everything in the "cardinal world" and expands over the entire cosmology in tensura, even LN rimuru and the true dragons are not above it.

what i understood was that was something like great sage but isn't exactly like it, more commonly known throughout the world as the "voice of the world". When rimuru was being reincarnated, the voice of the world was talking to him the same way it did to hinata. then he said he died a virgin.. something something something.. he's like a sage or something along those lines, which gave him the Great Sage skill. So according to that, I took that as, every otherworlder acquire skills announced to them by the voice of the world but they dont have great sage because they dont have that specific skill

Rimuru is the only character in Tensura that have this skill. In short, what Hinata heard is 'The Voice of the World'

It’s shown from 2 perspectives, Rimuru sees her eating the shrimp with her hands and thinks “Wow, she is really elegant eating it like that”

Raphael/Great Sage and the Voice of the World (or World Language/Words of the World) have the same voice because when Great Sage integrated into Rimuru's soul it was modified to use the speaking function of the Voice of the World in order to answer his questions. That's something the Great Sage skill didn't initially have the ability to do (by which I mean speak).
But don't get it twisted, Voice of the World and Raphael are completely separate entities. Also EVERYONE (individually) hears the Voice of the World when a evolution, skill acquisition, or important phenomenon occurring.
Despair Time is actually much like a domain exansion from JJK. When using Despair Time Diablo has complete control over everything within his "domain." In other words, unless you are more powerful than Diablo, if he uses Despair Time and you get caught in it, you are simply screwed.

Just to make the misunderstanding clear up because they didn't explain this in season 2, Raphael and Voice of the world are two different things.
Voice of the world is the system that gives people skills and announce events (e.g. Rimuru's demon lord evolution when all of the people in the town heard the announcement of his evolution, that wasn't great sage it was Voice of The World) They're basically the system of the world.
Before Great Sage evolved into Raphael it's a skill that wasn't even supposed to talk but because it felt that Rimuru was lonely it borrowed the voice of the World's System so even though they sound the same they're two different things.

In case of Raphael's voice, it's happened back it still a great sage, anime skipped it, when Rimuru talked to himself after reincarnated, he said it was too quite. Then great sage talking to him, and he thought it was the announcement voice, but great sage said it copied the voice so it can talked to Rimuru.
What Hinata heard was the WORDS OF THE WORLD (that's what they hear when a new skill is revealed); Raphael is for all intents and purposes the librarian of all skills. Thus far, she is the only skill capable of communication. She "sacificed" Beelzebub to copy Hinata's sword. Once she has recorded a skill she can reestablish it, add it as a sub skill or give it to any of Rimuru's subordinates if they can handle it.

If you remember, in the first episode where rimuru(human, Japan) got stabbed, he was like speaking about all stuff, and there's voice like that too, confirming that he got skills. For example when rimuru says something about too hot, he's got a skill like immune to extreme temperature or something like that .
Raphael is a skill, while voice of the world is a universal thing... Idk why but it just happens that both sounds the same but theyre completely different from each other
Think of it like this there is a server it's called the voice of the system and what rimuru had was a personal computer great sage which evolved into a super computer Raphael when he evolved into a Demon lord, infact Great Sage was bargaining with the voice of the world when they were evolving to acquire and upgrade his skillsets. Everyone is allotted skills by the server/voice of the world where as Rimuru was given his own processing unit which can lookup and compile skills on her own which is why they sound similar
raphiel is a skill like a personal computer. it used the same voice as the words of the world which is like the server everyone uses. its like the voice sends bot messages to anyone/everyone whenever they get a skill which also includes rimuru(in ep 1 when he was becoming slime, that was the "system")

Don’t think it was stated but Raphael didn’t block hinatas attack because she wanted to eat it and learn it. Also there’s a small chance the spirit particles get through and harm him (which she also states he’d survive but requires a lot of energy to heal his body). Since she ate it though, she got a better understanding of spirit particles allowing Uriel to block the 7 days attack.
Two things to note about the Special Ending and one about Hinata;
First: Hinata doesn't have a Raphael, Great Sage/Raphael speaks with a special language called "The words of the world" which always sounds like the listener's native toungue in a vaguely feminine voice. Every person who levels up a skill/aquires a skill hears that exact voice tell them it has happened, the requirements they met to make it happen, and how the ability works.
Second: This special ending basically cut out two more episodes of meetings and another of celebration.
Third: The reason why Luminus Valentine's eyes are glowing in the bath is because she is VERY "yuri-coded", she was using her magical sight at full power to observe Hinata's body. Hinata noticed this and thats why she was blushing in the bath. Luminus X Hinata is the second most popular ship in the series that doesn't involve Rimiru

The Great Sage (now Raphael) is a skill that Rimuru has acquired and is separate from the Word of the world.
The Word of the World is a system that notifies when a skill is acquired or awakened.
The Great Sage has improved herself to be able to answer Rimuru's questions smoothly by interfering with that system.
She has evolved into Raphael and now does many things without Rimuru's knowledge, but she does it all for Rimuru's benefit.

the raphiel voice is 2 entities. one is rimuru's ai assistant, other is the global notification system. thats why when he was becoming demon lord, it seemed like great sage was talking to itself but it was actually talking to the word of the world
Forgive me if I didn't explain it right as I never read the LN, but what Hinata heard was the "Voice of the World" which is essentially like a notification kind of echo whenever obtaining skills, answering questions or making confirmations as part of the skill or other features, or a big event is about to occur.
It's basically a staple voice heard through a lot of things shown in the anime such as:
- Great Sage and Raphael
- Hinata's Usurper
- Rimuru's Harvest Festival/Asension to Demon Lord.
OK just to clarify the voice hinata heard was not Rafhael it was VOICE OF THE WORLD. You can hear it when rimuru was going through the harvest festival too. I know it can be confusing since it's the same VA but it's not the same thing. Any creature gaining a new skill will hear the VOICE OF THE WORLD.
btw in the LN hinata killed her dad cuz she thought if he was gone her mother would be happy , you can see in the anime they HINTED IT, by the way she was standing on edge while we hear a splash. maybe it would've been too dark to show it so they didn't.

The voice of the World can either be heard by a single individual whenever they get a skill or selected people around the person in question (like Clayman's awakening).
Raphael only uses the VOTW's voice. So they sounded the same. So VOTW is like an announcer, Raphael is like a Super Computer. (If I remember correctly, in Rimuru's evolution Great Sage said they attempted to evolve into Voice of the World but I think it's just mistranslation).
Also, when Rimuru was evolving, all his subordinates heard the Voice of the World because they are all connected to the monster that is evolving and they are announced to receive a gift.
Raphael doesn’t have her own voice, she copied the voice of the Words of the World when she came into being (as Great Sage) in order to be able to talk to Rimuru.
The Words of the World was bestowing skills to Hinata when she crossed over, same as it did for Rimuru when he crossed over. It looks like bestowed skills are based on what the user asked for at the time- not that the user was informed about it.

Hinata doesn't have an equivalent to Raphael, it is an intrinsic system of the world, usually called "Words of the World", that basically announces important developments that happen within the world.
Like for instance when someone becomes a demon lord, back when Rimuru became a demon lord his subordinates back in town all knew because WoTW announced it, and told them they would be receiving gifts. This system is also the same voice that announces to individuals when they gain a new skill.
Rimuru's unique skill Great Sage/ultimate skill Raphael is basically copying that voice in order to be able to communicate with him. Normally skills cannot interact with their host in any way like Raphael does with Rimuru.
For some added lore the reason Great Sage originally learned to do this was because back when he first reincarnated to this world Rimuru wished he had someone to talk to while stuck in the cave alone, and Great Sage was originally only capable of providing limited, factual information. So over time it learned the ability to more effectively communicate, initially was 90 days before it could speak at all.
Every time Rimuru evolves to a new level of noteable power he also tends to remark that Raphael seems more fluent than ever, because it is still always trying to improve for Rimuru. Raphael would never admit it, though.
The ending scene was so funny. To me was On my back laughing.

The voice that talked to Hinata was "The Voice of the World". "The System" Per Se. It was not explained clearly in the anime but they have shown it a few times before. Remember when Rimuru was evolving into True Demon Lord in the previous season? Raphael(Great Sage at the time) was trying to evolve itself by appealing to The Voice of the World. It wasn't obvious but Great Sage and The Voice of the World was talking to each other back then. Rimuru's subordinates heard the voice too when it announced that it's about to commence the Harvest Festival. I believe someone said there "It's the voice of the world". I recommend watching that part again so you'll see the difference:))
So basically, whenever individuals of the TensuraVerse meets a condition, they acquire a skill which matches the condition and is given to them by The Voice of the World. That's why in this episode, when Hinata resolutely said in her monologue "I'll be the one doing the taking" she acquired the skill Usurper which takes the skill of her opponent.
As for the reason why Raphael has the same voice as The Voice of the World, Raphael just merely borrows the voice to be able to talk.
I'm pretty sure Hinata killed her father, could be wrong. But the Words of the World and Raphael have the same voice. You heard them during Rimuru's harvest festival. Raphael's basically set on the default Siri voice for IsekaiOS.
Edit: I can't remember if it was in the anime, but one of the written versions spells out clearly (when Raphael is born) that Raphael is the first sentient skill. Great Sage didn't have an ego. Idk where it goes but I'm pretty sure Raphael will continue to become more of a character. I don't think it's pulling strings outside of Rimuru, it just shares a voice pack.
That voice was the Voice of the World, not Raphael. Its just confusing because they sound exactly the same but in reality are two different things.
