Can someone please explain how becoming independent will change anything? The party wants a currency union (a currency run by a foreign central bank). They want to retain the monarchy and they also want to join the eu which has clearly stated that scotland will need to re apply as a new sovereign nation. these are the facts. i still have no understanding bar emotive reasons as to why anybody in scotland would vote for this, considering the lack of planning and engagement of any other alternatives.
