I think it's a bit of a double standard to call all the greens these rich bourgeois types, when Westminster is jam packed with corrupt richboys. I mean the ones with the most resources are going to be the most visible. It is fair to say they have less experience, but some experience you only get when enough people vote for you. I just believe in the ethics, so that's who I vote for.
I live in brighton we have the greens they have been good, especially Caroline Lucas-she has fought for a lot of marganalized people and have been brilliant helping address the crumbling hospital and long waiting lists.
@Stephen Verchinski, Not if a Green, he’d never be accepted as a (Moderate Conservative) Democrat. And, if he became an a Independent after being voted in as a Democrat, as an Africoid man, he’d be called on leveraging in an unethical manner rather than running as an independent from the beginning, as Caucasoid womxn extremists and others, should be already.
I'm not voting Green but I don't have anything bad to say about them. I agree with a lot of their policies - they'd be my second party of choice, if we had a different voting system.
I feel exactly the same way about the Green Party here in Scotland. Thankfully we do have a different voting system which allows you to vote twice, I usually lend the greens as my second choice.
Why are we being subjected to pollution and toxic chemicals from others and why and where are the Green Party, that I voted for, to reduce our health issues from this poisoning?
Maybe go to a meeting and you will see lots of them? Just google Nottingham Green Party and you can find out where they have been. They ain't gonna just randomly turn up on your doorstep just cause they pass through your mind one day haha.
@Pidols, At the time, at the meeting in the video, those involved in the recruitment day out in Bristol, sure. Thankfully, not overall. Not anymore. : )
@Rehna Fayard, Only seemingly. Only in public or if they need something from you, are scamming, overtly coercively abusing, profiting off of you, have something over you... The standard caucasoid supremacist delusional belief (and expectancy) in superiority.

Being in a position where you can (literally) afford to not swallow all of your ethics, and allow a tory victory, is a privileged position.

I might join as the token black guy.
You are not a token when a Green. In the U.S.A. you can run for the highest office in the land.

Used to vote for liberal progressives but they are not about to give up on illegal wars.

We're only going to ever get a different voting system if people wised up and vote for it
@@stephenverchinski409 yeah if only you'd voted green in 1997 so that the tories could have just taken us to iraq anyway
@James Duffy,
Get real, it’s twenty-five years ON.
Really enjoying this series, a good and different insight into how party policies can affect local areas. Thanks guardian
Love the greens! In my local council - despite having only 2 seats, they have pushed for many environmental reforms here!
"Not the Greens usual territory, no whole foods" hahahaha love it!
The farmers market has greens too!
What's an election? My goodness
If I didn't live in a Brexit loving northern constituency, I'd vote green. But Labour are the best '"anti tory" option in my area.
Why are we being subjected to pollution and toxic chemicals from others and why and where are the Green Party, that I voted for, to reduce our health issues from this poisoning?
Can the Green party here in Bristol Bedminster stop our poor living conditions from toxic poisoning from other? BS34JY
Here in Australia, voting is compulsory. I swear, it's an absolute neccesity for genuine democracy.
Green party is for the middle class types to speak about doing their bit at dinner parties. Trendy coffee shops etc.
I do hope the green party are able to secure this seat. #fingerscrossed
sim6699 hahahahahaha
Don't think I've ever seen the Greens in Nottingham

I know who you are. :-)
Look forward to seeing if you can figure out how.
I've got respect for the woman candidate trying to be different - still a party for the trendies "
middle-class liberals...
You say that like it's a bad thing.

Are these still a party,
Yes. A major international force.
Yes

the street and weather is just so deplorable..
Jeez, that’s Bristol?! Talk about going downhill....
The poorest areas of Bristol, yes. Lawrence Hill is the poorest council ward in the south west
Come to England from all over the world and get free things.
That's what England did to the world for 3 centuries, so, what goes around comes around, yeah?
White people are extremely nice to you if your mother is white. It's like oh your one of us.

I would potentially vote for a right wing green party.
Um . . .
England is ruined.
