Can we please hear the story of how Sauers beat the absolute crap out of a dude in BUDS at the beginning of second phase? Let me refresh his memory if he does not remember... So, Mr. Sauers had rolled back into class 213 to start second phase. Class 213 was all running across the grinder at the end of the day and this guy had fallen behind limping, so Sauers gave him a little push to keep him up to speed and with the class. Well, dude did not take kindly to that little push. So, as they all stopped at the end of that jog across the grinder the dude just laid into Sauers verbally. There was a bunch of F yous, WTFs, and F you roll back Smurf. Sauers just took it all in and did not say one word. He just let it all roll off his back. The dude was being a total douche nozzle. He even persisted and kept talking smack right behind Sauers as they ran back to the second phase barracks. Once they got to the second phase barracks the dude then grabbed Mr. Sauers by the neck, and I am telling you, as soon as his little pinky finger just SLIGHTLY brushed up to Mr. Sauers neck, Sauers had already in one swift motion spun around with an awesome right hook and absolutely CLOCKED him. The dude was super dazed and stepping back, and as soon as he could even lift his head Sauers had already started running at him grabbed him by the waist, lifted him 2 feet off the ground driving him back and slammed him straight down onto the ground. Classic wrestling move executed TO A TEE. So, at that point Sauers had him on his back and began to unload a few more punches to the face. The dude had to have been close to going to sleep. Yeah, he was close if not K.O.ed. Other guys from the class were like dude, tap out. TAP OUT. He got you man. Give it up. Dude taps, Sauers lets him up and he stumbled off to his room totally dazed and confused bloodied and beaten. Yeah, dude was me. I totally deserved it and learned a great lesson about wrestlers that day! and learned to never underestimate anyone no matter how smurf they are. HAHAHHAHA Thanks for the awesome memory Mr. Sauers. You have free reign to tell that story anytime you want. I absolutely deserved it and apologize for the shit I talked that day and for hurting your hands with my face. My bad.

one day I was standing on the beach in San Diego looking across the water towards a Navy ship with a floating orange barricade around it. Suddenly I see a speed boat on top of the water obviously a war boat set-up - then it went under water like a sub and passed under the floating barrier around the ship and popped up about a minute after they disappeared - late afternoon. I couldn't believe how quiet it was and then the speed boat mode plained out on top with speed. I remember forever that is the most AWESOME thing I ever saw. the air was warm but the water temp was not. .

I am a Student of recipients of The Victoria Cross and the Congressional Medal of Honor.
I have read every citation for both awards since their inception.
There is no reason why Marcus Luttrells Navy Cross should not be upgraded to the Congressional Medal of Honor.
It will happen one day, because his conduct on that fateful day was undeniably exceptional and by his undaunted courage, bold initiative, leadership, and devotion to duty, reflected great credit upon himself and upheld the highest traditions of the United States Naval Service.
And that folks, is the criteria met for the Congressional Medal Of Honor.
The pain of loss may be great, but that is no excuse for not fully recognising a true American Hero.

A citation is written up from combat reports by officers in the ground. Who was there to write up his citation? I really don't think his actions were MOH material, if they were handed out like sweeties then it defeats the point of them.

Marlins mascot would have been funnier during the end of hell week. You could have had a group hallucination lol

The hallucination stories are the best ones. I’ve heard some wild woman’s. I think Shawn Ryan had the one about thinking a ship was barreling down in his boat team at night and he just fully bailed out of the boat lmao, just jumped for it.

My son went to the Marines which basic training was 13 weeks...I tried and tried to get him go Army and then one day he came in and said iam going to be a Marine...which is 5 more weeks than any other training beside seal training or Rasp....well this December he will be a Marine for a year and he has ranked up to a E Three...It's awesome to see young men come straight out of High School and go into the Military...Much respect to yall and always remember you work as a team you fail as a team and when yall get into trouble he can't single you out he has to talk to the whole team and explain what they did wrong...I gave my son the same advice and it worked...they could tell who wanted it bad enuff....Semper Fi Rah...Love you son (Staff Sgt. Billings)...

@@demise.5720 thanks bro...don't ring the bell...in my opinion I would try ranger school and do missions with those guys in South America knocking down these drug lords and killing there so called own military and do that for a while and if you get 25 years old and still want to be a seal by all means go for it brother...My son truly wanted to be a seal but he is not to much on the water but he came in all cocky telling me he's going to be a Marine and graduate at the top of his class...he loves to fight but what I knew was the Marines are the fighting force for the Navy so I think it was his 4th week and they make you jump fully loaded down with all your gear which comes to be a 100 pds to 120 pds and you jump abt 25 feet into 12 foot of water...what my son did was try to swim to the other side the length of the pool...well he got close but dropped one of his boots so he flunked they got three chances...well his instructor pulled him to the side and said recruit this ain't swimming this is water survival...well his next attempt he took his boots off and tied them to his gear and after that you somehow blow air inside your upper fatigues...and it puts air down inside your clothing and you dog paddle to the other side which was a time limit but I've now forgot...two weeks ago they took his platoon of 20 or 25 fully loaded and had them set inside the frame or Skelton of a Marine helicopter and your locked in like a seat belt and they lower you down into a very deep pool and you haft to hold your breath and get out while they are rotating it...you get three chances to memorize where the exit is and my sons brother he met in basic from Alaska told everyone to grab a leg and exit...My own son forgot to tell everyone to work as a team...cause the last attempt they had to do it blind folded...sorry for that short story...You can do it Demise...train your mind...best of wishes
